And nobody here is seriously talking about nuclear powered cars!!!
Are you sure about that?

The successful and practical shippingport breeder clearly demonstrated that a commercial light water Thorium breeder can be built. Thorium Breeders however are not going to be economical until operators are obliged to reprocess their fissile waste for reactor use rather than only be required to process it for safe long term storage where currently even that is not fully on the agenda.

I don't believe these sort of things until I see money on the barrel. I don't expect vested interests to ever be objective in their claims.

It's like asking the Pope if there is a God?

It doesn't appear at present Thorium offers advantages over Uranium. One may as well run fast breeders with the million tons of DU floating around the world.

It must be fairly self evident that billions are currently being invested in the breeder technology where more or less it is only you who continues to think history was not made when the Thorium breeder was operating

Right, so you are admitting you had no idea what you were talking about and have some kind of objection to reading.
Still going off on a tangent I see?

Sure sign of lunacy.

I am not the one going off on tangents.

1. You remain in denial that a practical breeder has already been built

2. You are fond of unusual ideas where it appears you are only person in the World who has this particularly unique flavour of the idea

3. it appears once again that the basis of your unusual unique thinking is imagination before it is based on something produced by those who are in a position to know more about it than either of us can know. Eg The nuclear engineers who worked on the projects you are claiming you know something about or the Worlds greatest living banking experts.

4. In both of these situations you constantly demonstrate that you have an unusual lack of desire to respond to what is written down by experts, whlle simultaneously your ideas can only have originated from the writings of these same experts.

Australian Property Forum is an economics and finance forum dedicated to discussion of Australian and global real estate markets and macroeconomics, including house prices, housing affordability, and the likelihood of a property crash. Is there an Australian housing bubble? Will house prices crash, boom or stagnate? Is the Australian property market a pyramid scheme or Ponzi scheme? Can house prices really rise forever? These are the questions we address on Australian Property Forum, the premier real estate site for property bears, bulls, investors, and speculators. Members may also discuss matters related to finance, modern monetary theory (MMT), debt deflation, cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin Ethereum and Ripple, property investing, landlords, tenants, debt consolidation, reverse home equity loans, the housing shortage, negative gearing, capital gains tax, land tax and macro prudential regulation.
