I think you can't be citizen's of two countries even if you were born in oz and must do a ceremonial burning of the flag from where you came to be a real Australian.
Bingo! Although flag burning is a bit extreme and a bit too insulting I do agree that dual citizenship shouldn't be allowed or recognised. If you want to be an Australian you should have to renounce any other citizenship. It's not too much to ask that to partake of the fruits of this country you cut ties with where you come from - no going back, you have made your choice.

So my Australian born kids are welcome but I'm not? They are one of you lot not an immigrant like me.
Once someone is a citizen we are all the same.
This is just more of you trying to make yourself feel welcome. I can guarentee if your children grow up to love this country they will not be pro-high immigration and multiculturalism like you are.

But the majority dont want cut their ties with where they came from. After all why do you think a Republic has been knocked back several times.
The only reason dual citizenship exists is because many white Anglo Saxons didn't want to lose their British citizenship (right up to the late 70's Brits could stay and vote for as long as they wanted without becoming a citizen), so rather than upset them, and enforce a Aussie only status, the Gov introduced the dual citizenship rules , and applied them to all immigrants including the Brits...

Not any more. It changed at the start of the 2000s I think. Up until then, Australia automatically revoked your Australian citizenship if you voluntarily acquired citizenship of another country (you could apply to the minister on some grounds to not have it revoked) and when you were naturalised as an Australian they took your foreign passport away and returned it to the owners. They did not require you to take any other steps to cancel your other citizenship though, unlike some other countries.

stinkbug omosessuale Frank Castle is a liar and a criminal. He will often deliberately take people out of context and use straw man arguments. Frank finally and unintentionally gives it up and admits he got where he is, primarily via dumb luck! See here Property will be 50-70% off by 2016.
Australian Property Forum is an economics and finance forum dedicated to discussion of Australian and global real estate markets and macroeconomics, including house prices, housing affordability, and the likelihood of a property crash. These are the questions we address on Australian Property Forum, the premier real estate site for property bears, bulls, investors, and speculators. Members may also discuss matters related to finance, modern monetary theory (MMT), debt deflation, cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin Ethereum and Ripple, property investing, landlords, tenants, debt consolidation, reverse home equity loans, the housing shortage, negative gearing, capital gains tax, land tax and macro prudential regulation.
