I will keep it simple from my point , with litttle input or influence from myself as I would like to see what others have to say.
Well I'll try and keep it simple and hopefully short from me .
It seems to me that Australia has been living in an economic bubble for quite some time , mainly thanks to our government for increasing wages higher than they should of. This has allowed them to waste our money on their mindless policies and their own pay packet while doing very little really. They have increased government departments and created many unnecessary jobs along the way. Sorry that was turning into a rant.
Anyway, as I was saying our wages have increased too much. The highest in the world. We see the US struggling to compete in the modern world with emerging economies. The minimum wage over in the US is 7.25 an hour yet here it is over 16 dollars, more than double. As a result many of our jobs, are now being sent offshore. Other Industries here are dying too , our manufacturing has died because other countries like china make every thing for nothing so we can't compete there anymore.our retail is also suffering because of cheap imported goods and also because of online sales. Even the farmer has not been let off the hook, I recently saw where farmers were plowing their crops into the ground because of our high labour charges. Its now cheaper to import fruit from overseas, overseas they can buy cheaper land and have cheaper overheads like power and labour and government regulations are not like here, so they can grow it, pay someone to pick it and pack it, pay for refrigeration and trucking costs, pay shipping costs and quarantine costs and whatever else send it halfway across the world and still have a cheaper product than we can produce here ourselves.
Anyway , I will leave it at that from me, so much for my little input.
Sorry , just bumping my thread up. It was started late last night and Alex would not of seen it until today and it then gets posted halfway down the page as being posted as though it was posted at 11 something oclock last night. I can see some have seen it but not many or should I just assume you all agree here :pop:
Yeah I don't really get it. Some shit I read not long ago said we made some pathetic amount of money from OS, probably about 50bn all up if that, yet we have a 1 trillion economy.
stinkbug omosessuale Frank Castle is a liar and a criminal. He will often deliberately take people out of context and use straw man arguments. Frank finally and unintentionally gives it up and admits he got where he is, primarily via dumb luck! See here Property will be 50-70% off by 2016.
