It's not good news, I do blame the stupid stupid Polly's, spending like there's no tomorrow.

This article demonstrates
Incompetent financial management...misappropiation of taxpayer funds, that every worker contributes . Bloody chair sniffer Buzzwell should of been booted ages ago .some people should not be in politics full stop.

It should give people the shits.
Newjerk? can you try harder than dig up another person's blog. My first promo was with Billabong and my name in English is modified with a T, am Perth born but also lived in Sydney to make my $$
It's Absolutely Fabulous if it includes brilliant locations, & high calibre tenants..what more does one want? Understand the power of the two "P"" or be financially challenged
Even better when there is family who are property mad and one is born in some entitlements.....Understand that beautiful women are the exhibitionists we crave attention, whilst hot blooded men are the voyeurs ... A stunning woman can command and takes pleasure in being noticed. Seems not too many understand what it means to hold and own props and get threatened by those who do.
Banks are considered to be law abiding and & rather boring places yeah not true . A bank balance sheet will show capital is dwarfed by their liabilities this means when a portions of loans is falling its problems for the bank.

It's people like you who are to blame because you insisted on house price stability or growth, and one of the main things they use to do that is mass immigration.

Idiot.

No Moops

It's actually you who is the moron who never worked out your finances.

Don't worry, you are not the only gen x on this forum who is a loser , there is another that really has a few screws loose in his reality.

Also, it's political portfolio mismanagement by stupid retarded Polly's who brazenly waste the tax $$ in their policies .

Politics should not be for people who are ex union baggers, manipulaters that have the gift of the gob for their own self gratification, & losers.

Then it's the voters who are to blame, anyone over the age of 35-40 should hang their heads in shame...

If you want to blame politicians, you have to blame the voters first, for putting them in power.

I was going to go for boomers up, but that isn't really fair, there's about 400 thousand voters below 35, about 1.1 million above. (edited for WA voters only, since this thread is for WA, I had used national numbers of 5 million and 9 million, respectively)

If it isn't the fault of the majority of voters, who's fault is it?

Of course there are more voters above 35yo
Half the people under 35 aren't old enough to vote yet.

And...

We're not blaming children who don't vote, but we really can't blame those who recently became voters either, if we are blaming politicians, it is those who participated in the voting game and even if all those who are under 35 voted for a better class of politician, there is a vast majority over 35 who have the balance of power.

Edit

"I have solved this political dilemma in a very direct way: I don't vote. On Election Day, I stay home. I firmly believe that if you vote, you have no right to complain.
Now, some people like to twist that around. They say, 'If you don't vote, you have no right to complain,' but where's the logic in that? If you vote, and you elect dishonest, incompetent politicians, and they get into office and screw everything up, you are responsible for what they have done. You voted them in. You caused the problem. You have no right to complain. I, on the other hand, who did not vote -- who did not even leave the house on Election Day -- am in no way responsible for what these politicians have done and have every right to complain about the mess that you created." - George Carlin

Yeah
The people have certainly spoken when who ever is voted...I voted for Mr Colon, but you are not always have an exact say with regarding people of questionable intentions to WHY they are in politics.
The labor govt has managed to put the oz economy in some poo.

The Abbott govt has the following challenges:

1.Reduce foreign aid

.
2. Take a tougher line with asylum seekers..

The new govt is faced with slower economic growth, it needs to balance the competing claims of the US & China, issues such as this requires a UNITED Liberal party leaded by Abbott.

Nighty night.

I would have to say, the Labor government did really well, they carried Australia through the GFC while the rest of the world crashed and burned.
(not to say that they aren't unscrupulous deceiving bastards like the other parties)

The only reason they had such a large budget to do this with was because the government before them sold many national assets to private corporations.

The reason they have such a giant deficit is because of the middle class welfare that the previous governments put in place, that middle class is now hooked on this welfare and it would mean political suicide if it were to be touched.

Australian Property Forum is an economics and finance forum dedicated to discussion of Australian and global real estate markets and macroeconomics, including house prices, housing affordability, and the likelihood of a property crash. Is there an Australian housing bubble? Will house prices crash, boom or stagnate? Is the Australian property market a pyramid scheme or Ponzi scheme? Can house prices really rise forever? These are the questions we address on Australian Property Forum, the premier real estate site for property bears, bulls, investors, and speculators. Members may also discuss matters related to finance, modern monetary theory (MMT), debt deflation, cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin Ethereum and Ripple, property investing, landlords, tenants, debt consolidation, reverse home equity loans, the housing shortage, negative gearing, capital gains tax, land tax and macro prudential regulation.

Forum Rules: The main forum may be used to discuss property, politics, economics and finance, precious metals, crypto currency, debt management, generational divides, climate change, sustainability, alternative energy, environmental topics, human rights or social justice issues, and other topics on a case by case basis.
