What a joke this is really, the biggest mining boom in 100 years, yet they go from owing 3.6 billion in 2008 , to now owing a projected 28 billion. sounds like they used the mining boom profits wisely, just dont tell timmy.
i ve always said government has wasted the boom you fucking moron...
I doesn't matter either way for you. Your jobs gone and your dogbox will soon be plummeting in price. I hope for your sake you didn't spend too much time under the capital gains tree, fornicating with the equity fairy. Having to pay off a huge mortgage in a collapsing economy is bad enough without compounding it by adding XR8 fords to the bill.
I'm just glad my gold is paid for and was bought for under $1000 aussie, things are going to get real rough in Australia now. Yes it's good to be debt free and have a few 00,000 tucked away :pop:
Shadow was hopelessly wrong about the Gold Bull Market. What else is he wrong about?

Brother's shed? O that's right, you and the other debt junkies seem to think I am one of a dozen other retired posters "lol I haven't lost a cent pigiron, not a cent. I am still up and will be until gold goes down to under $1000 aussie. You people who buy on leverage need to worry about your assets going up up up, but when you buy for cash with a 20 or 30 year investment horizon, monthly or yearly movements in price don't mean all that much. Certainly I could have sold my gold at the recent top for about $1520 aussie and been up 50% on my investment. But then I wouldn't be a goldbug anymore would I? And I would have to put all that money in a bank or 3 and then worry about bank collapses and government stealouts.
No I am quite happy to let the paper game play out like it did around the GFC when gold was slammed. Much happier than you appear to be with your whole future dependent on 60 year low interest rates and now your state economy falling into the Indian ocean lol. My gold is still way ahead of your property pigiron, and it has already corrected. Yours has barely begun to correct.
It's a pity, Perth is such a lovely city too.

what shit are dribbling on about? i nearly own my house, rates could go up to 20% and i could lose my job for 2 years before i would be in trouble. thats what home ownership does, it allows you to get ahead in life.
all this is a mere deflection on your part anyway, you are shitting a brick that your silver and gold is plummeting.

Just to let you know timmy ,goldbug is not me. I would probably be silver something if I was to use a precious metal type of name. but well done goldy, being acused of me is credit enough I suppose.

Head coming out of the sand?
After a bubble has burst, no one denies that it existed. But before it does, the popular refrain is that though bubbles existed elsewhere in the world, “there’s no bubble here”. So housing bubbles are admitted to have existed in Japan, the USA, Spain and Ireland – because they’ve already burst.

It's easier to dismiss everything said, out of hand, if everyone is actually one person.

Australian Property Forum is an economics and finance forum dedicated to discussion of Australian and global real estate markets and macroeconomics, including house prices, housing affordability, and the likelihood of a property crash. Is there an Australian housing bubble? Will house prices crash, boom or stagnate? Is the Australian property market a pyramid scheme or Ponzi scheme? Can house prices really rise forever? These are the questions we address on Australian Property Forum, the premier real estate site for property bears, bulls, investors, and speculators. Members may also discuss matters related to finance, modern monetary theory (MMT), debt deflation, cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin Ethereum and Ripple, property investing, landlords, tenants, debt consolidation, reverse home equity loans, the housing shortage, negative gearing, capital gains tax, land tax and macro prudential regulation.
