Whoever you vote for the government always wins, and I do sincerely hope that we do not see religion taking ANY role of ANY kind in our government.
The Catholic church is a stain on the face of humanity and I can say that freely as I was brought up one. Despite the fact there are many good people in the religion the organization itself needs a complete overhaul and has no role at all in the government of Australia.
Like Peter, I worried about the the negativity of Abbott undoing the economic recovery and I hope they have the sense to avoid cutting jobs in the public sector at this time.
I am sad for Labour, they did a great job for Australia throughout the GFC. But hey the people have voted.
If you can claim the Catholic Church is a stains on Humanity, then unless you are a brainwashed Moron and a Hypocrite, then you must acknowledge that Judaism and Islam are stains on Humanity also.
Indeed far larger stains, as these 2 religions are actively and openly are murdering people.

You have shown with each post that you do not have the intellectual agility to look at anything beyond the simplest of debates.
I have won.
Encapsulates perfectly BP's approach so far. Great analogy
And yet a Christian Conservative is our PM.

I think you have left the realm of subtlety and become one of the most blatant trolls on the forum.
If you become too obvious you lose any credibility. Time to start again with a new name.

Hahahaha, I just spat out my breakfast juice.
I cant believe you are actually saying "Hey, sure we are bad, but not as bad as those guys - so its all ok. Look the other way now"!

Yes The people have certainly voted , be glad for democracy.
As for religion, we all have our personal beliefs & values which have been certainly indoctrinated,.
The world would be perfect if we only treated people as to how we would like to be treated.
As for me ...well when it's my time to die, I'll certainly be on a mission to spit out a few chosen words to that bastard called god...otherwise I'll just be good fertillizer I suppose...
It seems I have sinned, I am hungover... Ta ta
Newjerk? can you try harder than dig up another person's blog. My first promo was with Billabong and my name in English is modified with a T, am Perth born but also lived in Sydney to make my $$ It's Absolutely Fabulous if it includes brilliant locations, & high calibre tenants..what more does one want? Understand the power of the two "P"" or be financially challenged Even better when there is family who are property mad and one is born in some entitlements.....Understand that beautiful women are the exhibitionists we crave attention, whilst hot blooded men are the voyeurs ... A stunning woman can command and takes pleasure in being noticed. Seems not too many understand what it means to hold and own props and get threatened by those who do. Banks are considered to be law abiding and & rather boring places yeah not true . A bank balance sheet will show capital is dwarfed by their liabilities this means when a portions of loans is falling its problems for the bank.
I had lots of fun with the Catholics when I was a youngen.
I'd rather the "conservatives" going hell for leather and propping up house prices and making them more expensive than the chardonnay socialist fuckwits going hell for leather propping up house prices and making them more expensive.
It's a lot less insulting.
stinkbug omosessuale Frank Castle is a liar and a criminal. He will often deliberately take people out of context and use straw man arguments. Frank finally and unintentionally gives it up and admits he got where he is, primarily via dumb luck! See here Property will be 50-70% off by 2016.
in the event the NBN is scrapped, areas with the NBN already in place like Townsville would be at a relative advantage.
Does this mean their values could end up higher than they otherwise would have been soon?
Yep. I think that will be the case. A dwelling with fibre will be worth more than a dwelling without fibre, especially to rent.
Since new developments seem to be getting fibre under any model, it may give a bit of a fillip to new builds.
Not that I'm expecting the NBN to be scrapped at the end of the day. I'm expecting it to be respun and rescheduled. There may be the odd area that has to suffer VDSL forever but not many. In the end the backlash from the people who find themselves eating shit while others eat cake will carry the day.

19th century, "now the railroad can be scrapped". Horse and buggy are good enough!
i suspect BP could be just having some fun with us Count. I really hope we don't lose the NBN and i certainly agree with your analogy
Australian Property Forum is an economics and finance forum dedicated to discussion of Australian and global real estate markets and macroeconomics, including house prices, housing affordability, and the likelihood of a property crash. These are the questions we address on Australian Property Forum, the premier real estate site for property bears, bulls, investors, and speculators. Members may also discuss matters related to finance, modern monetary theory (MMT), debt deflation, cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin Ethereum and Ripple, property investing, landlords, tenants, debt consolidation, reverse home equity loans, the housing shortage, negative gearing, capital gains tax, land tax and macro prudential regulation.
