Just read this really interesting article by Michael Yardney - really points to strong growth and a good time to jump into the market for investors. He also mentions how we need to progress as investors so that we gather a minimum of 6 properties so that we can achieve true financial independence, free of the banks and mega mortgages and yearly maintenance and letting management fees, insurance premiums and capital gains tax I assume.

I for one relish reading his articles, he's really upbeat even in the downtimes. And with all signs pointing to great times ahead who'd disagree with this stand out version of current events. The down phase in the cycle seems to have come and gone around the middle of last year (so say's Michael) so now's the time to act and get back in there investing in property...

I don't agree with all your opinions, but I like that you defend them and actually argue the points. We could easily drink beer together.

Yeah buddy...

In saying that I always said to myself while reading APF to not comment and get caught up in the to and fro basically because it takes a lot of time and in most cases end up banging your head against the wall.

Sort of like any addiction really, say drugs , start with a couple of joints then regular bongs then xtc ..... Same as here

1 point here 2 points there then your in 3 -6 page thread losing sleep over it all

Hahahaha funny really..... The ponz is back to mr c addict for a while

Australian Property Forum is an economics and finance forum dedicated to discussion of Australian and global real estate markets and macroeconomics, including house prices, housing affordability, and the likelihood of a property crash. Is there an Australian housing bubble? Will house prices crash, boom or stagnate? Is the Australian property market a pyramid scheme or Ponzi scheme? Can house prices really rise forever? These are the questions we address on Australian Property Forum, the premier real estate site for property bears, bulls, investors, and speculators. Members may also discuss matters related to finance, modern monetary theory (MMT), debt deflation, cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin Ethereum and Ripple, property investing, landlords, tenants, debt consolidation, reverse home equity loans, the housing shortage, negative gearing, capital gains tax, land tax and macro prudential regulation.
