Still, with Sydney house prices up 2%pa since then, you're still in with a chance of 20%+ pa for the next two years .....NAHHHHH

I still can't believe that Earthsta uses Bing and banks with Suncorp. Madness, just madness.

I don't know how he can call himself an Irishman or a Celt, what's the equivalent of an Uncle Tom for the Irish?

Frank Castle is a liar and a criminal. He will often deliberately take people out of context and use straw man arguments.
Frank finally and unintentionally gives it up and admits he got where he is, primarily via dumb luck!

You can view some of earthsta's failed predictions here:

We are not waiting to see how they will turn out. They have already failed. Hence his resort to abuse. His obsession with Shadow results from his envy of Shadow's success in Australia compared to his own momentous failure resulting in his now having to live in bumfuck. It's all he can afford.

Lets break down shadows dumb prediction, he thinks 9 percent a year from starting at 632k in 2010 so

688k in 2011
750k in 2012
818k in 2013
892k in 2014
972k in 2015

for one thing that doesn't even get to 1 mil by 2015, only 972k

for another thing its 2013 now, shadow says the median should be 818k sometime this year but sydney median is down to 580k at the start of this year according to rpdata

that's a big fail

I only visited* Bundy once, and my memory of it clashes with the notion of a family friendly city, so I am curious about how it has changed.

The first scary thing was the number of churches, the second scary thing was the number of drunks, the third scary thing was the number of V8 utes being driven by aforementioned drunks, while drunk.

Sundays were very quiet though.

What has changed?

* When I say visited, I mean I stayed in a massive backpackers hostel and picked tomatoes during the day, and this was in '93.

The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.

Australian Property Forum is an economics and finance forum dedicated to discussion of Australian and global real estate markets and macroeconomics, including house prices, housing affordability, and the likelihood of a property crash. Is there an Australian housing bubble? Will house prices crash, boom or stagnate? Is the Australian property market a pyramid scheme or Ponzi scheme? Can house prices really rise forever? These are the questions we address on Australian Property Forum, the premier real estate site for property bears, bulls, investors, and speculators. Members may also discuss matters related to finance, modern monetary theory (MMT), debt deflation, cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin Ethereum and Ripple, property investing, landlords, tenants, debt consolidation, reverse home equity loans, the housing shortage, negative gearing, capital gains tax, land tax and macro prudential regulation.

Forum Rules: The main forum may be used to discuss property, politics, economics and finance, precious metals, crypto currency, debt management, generational divides, climate change, sustainability, alternative energy, environmental topics, human rights or social justice issues, and other topics on a case by case basis.
