Good work Poontang. I'll watch with interest.

Have made an Edit, Portfolio at Start and current Portfolio value as well. I am sure there will be people who will check my figures, but the Current Value one will be there for those that just want a quick reference.

Nice work Poons. I would dump that silver and buy a gold Rolex with the proceeds though
I have 4 watches, gifts from clients, already. (none are Rolexes though)

Would just like to add in here and now that I think the ASX200 and All Ords will drop circa 800 to 1200 points next year.

The big 6 , BHP, RIO and the 4 major banks have a very large weighting on the index and with continued economic troubles in the world I expect them to have declines in market capital next year. Other companies will be stung as well dragging the index down also.
This is why they do not figure in my portfolio thread. I think they will not perform well at all next year. A buying opportunity could well present itself for the portfolio thread next year.

A Rolex is nice, but ask for Patek Phillipe or Cartier all solid gold with solid gold bands - they will rise in value faster tha actual gold.
I don't ask for anything, clients just sometimes give me stuff. Concert/Show tickets are common too..

Thanks for the list. It will be an interesting exercise. Do you intend to update it weekly and will you graph it?
No I will leave it in table form, raw numbers look so much better than graphs to me.
Updates wil be weekly unless a trade is made in which case it will be updated as the trade(s) is/are done.

Australian Property Forum is an economics and finance forum dedicated to discussion of Australian and global real estate markets and macroeconomics, including house prices, housing affordability, and the likelihood of a property crash. Is there an Australian housing bubble? Will house prices crash, boom or stagnate? Is the Australian property market a pyramid scheme or Ponzi scheme? Can house prices really rise forever? These are the questions we address on Australian Property Forum, the premier real estate site for property bears, bulls, investors, and speculators. Members may also discuss matters related to finance, modern monetary theory (MMT), debt deflation, cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin Ethereum and Ripple, property investing, landlords, tenants, debt consolidation, reverse home equity loans, the housing shortage, negative gearing, capital gains tax, land tax and macro prudential regulation.
