So information and offical data is rubbish is it, now thats spin. Try putting up some kind of counter debate, typing rubbish is not much of counter.
Can you provide data that counters the offical data. Answer these questions why are sales rising by large %, why are rents rising rapidly, why is lending rising. Why is every indicator in WA pointing up for property. You dont counter any points other than general comments stating "rubbish".
I do in fact own 8 properties, well myself and my Wife. No im not going to provide proof to people I do not know over a forum. How about you post your address and phone number here, or proof of employment. Get real. I dont care if you dont trust what I say, I will post what I think is the current situation, you can disagree that is your right.
I'd be careful about those properties in your wife's name Mikey. With your performance of late, she may decide to go for someone a bit more satisfying.
Whenever you have an argument with someone, there comes a moment where you must ask yourself, whatever your political persuasion, 'am I the Nazi?'
Here's your quote Mike ""The RBA will recreate a boom in prices here just like night follows day"
Mate you are just spruiking. Gross generalisations and unsubstantiated claims.
Quote some stats and reference the source of the data.
Without clear quotes and clear reliable references you lack credibility.
Take it easy mate
Alec Smart, if you keep up this line of reasoning i'm going to have to rename you Alec Dumb. Mike has posted data sets many times on here, you yourself responded in this very thread after he did like so:
"I wouldn't rely on RP Data or other private data providers e.g. Australian Property Monitors or Residex etc "
So when the data doesn't fit your argument you don't accept it, then accuse mike of not providing data to substantiate his claims. That's your idea of objective reasoning is it, to ignore anything that doesn't back your own agenda?

Spot on. They only regard information which is negative as fact. They jump from agency, department or website to suit their point of view.
I nearly always provide links to substantiate my posts, funny how they do not.

Thanks Timmy. Everyone is entitled to an opnion.
By the way when it comes to data management and data reporting there is an old proven rule.
Poor data management = poor unreliable reports.
RP Data, Australian Property Monitors or Residex are not regulated and will always reflect the commercial bias of the owners. State Gov, Federal Gov and ABS stats etc are the most reliable as there are not vested commercial interests influencing the process.

This is standard bear behaviour - post emotive rhetoric and opinion and call it FACT or TRUTH, yet when an alternate opinion is offered that person is a 'spruiker'.
We have opinions on here that vary from strongly bull to strongly bear. In reality, the future probably lies somewhere in the middle.

The FACT is Perth houses prices are down over the last year and also over the last month according to todays results published.

Open your eyes Timmy.
His eyes are full of bulldust. He owes a fair whack of money and is trying to somehow justify things and willing it to go up in value, this is a typical bull trait. He is probably in Melbourne to top it off.
