Ok to sell off a few beasts but not the farm
Wonder why they are highlighting Chinese buyers over the other interested nationalities? :re:

Chinese look to take beef by the horns

CHINESE beef companies descended on Rockhampton this week, keen to buy Australian cattle stations and meat processing abattoirs in the next few months.

Other Chinese visitors to Australia's giant Beef Australia expo, held every three years in the Queensland town widely known as Beef City, are interested in acquiring bulls, cows and genetic material to improve their beef herds in China.

The Chinese delegation, brought to Rockhampton by Austrade, was joined by other cattlemen and agricultural investors from Paraguay, Poland, Argentina, the US and Brazil exploring investment options in the booming beef cattle industry.

Zenghong Li, from the Modern Agricultural Development company of Yunan province, is looking to buy several cattle properties in northern Australia. He wants to breed a herd using top local brahman, brangus and droughtmaster bloodlines that would be suitable to export live to sub-tropical China where beef production is relatively limited and of low quality.

"I'd like to invest in cattle farms here but it is difficult to find the information about how to do this in China, which is why we have come here," Mr Li said. "And when I do this, I want to do it in co-operation with local Australian farmers. I am very impressed with the quality of the cattle and their genetic management systems."

Yuzal Fong, from Shandong Jiejian Beef Development business, is a beef processor from China's cooler northeast region interested in buying or establishing a cattle abattoir in Australia.

After visiting cattle properties around Armidale in NSW and Toowoomba and Rockhampton in Queensland, he believes China's beef future lies in using Australia's herds, feedlots and meatworks to produce the meat, and then importing beef carcasses into China for local processing.

Yeah more vertical integration - the Japanese own their production from birth to sale - stations, feed lots, trains, holding yards, docks, ships - all of which are in Australia.

Its a fucking joke the way Australia just sells out to everyone - seriously fucking retarded.

It is an issue Frank. Certainly more important that a few units at Darling Harbour or Toorak.

They are buying our mines and our farmlands. Whilst I would do the same thing in their place, we need to ensure that we don't sell the farm to our detriment.

Any expressed market opinion is my own and is not to be taken as financial advice

No one is going to give a flying fuck whilst we sell out our residential properties to them.

Frank's worried his relos won't be able to get a job in the abattoir. :lol

Frank finally and unintentionally gives it up and admits he got where he is, primarily via dumb luck!

Displaying your lack of intelligence again I see.
If you did just the smallest amount of research you would know that one of the abattoirs there is already owned by Swift, who are Brazillian.

They may even employ someone such as yourself, (judging by the amount of time you are spending on here recently I assume you have lost your job ?), but I doubt you'd pass muster. ;)
