Yeah it doesn't seem Marrickville has turned into the latte sipping, mac owning, thick rimmed glasses wearing, $100 thong wearing, chardonnay socialist douchebag paradise.
As far as I know it still gets hammered by plane noise.
Looks like the place that was on Selling Houses Australia is up for auction after the owner rejected a reasonable offer when it was on the show:
Looks like they took the single speed bike off the wall.
It costs a lot to be a tosser these days, I reckon the Inner West wankathon ponzi scheme has done it's dash.
It supposedly held up quite well compared to everywhere else, I guess people have woken up to the fact that anyone who calls themselves a "foodie" is a cunt.
As the flamefest following has shown, this post represents some of themoops' finest work.
It is such a shame that it was sullied by a kernel of common sense.
I would not go so far as to say that anyone who calls themselves a "foodie" is a reprobate, let alone whatever themoops' said. However, I would go so far as to say that anyone who is prepared well over the odds for things of little intrinsic value before they have actually earned the money to pay for them is an idiot. (hint: if you have a big mortgage or if your investments are negatively geared then you have yet to earn the money....)
I am cautiously optimistic about the future, because I think most of the world, including Australia, the US, China and the rest of Asia have learned their lesson from recent turmoil and are fixing the problems.
On the other hand, Europe still has most of its pain in front of it and Japan is a bug waiting for a windshield. We could still have a black swan event that is the equivalent of the infamous Microsoft "Blue Screen of Death" - and subsequent reboot. If that happens, those who are underwater could end up with nothing, along with a credit rating that doesn't allow them to get underwater again. Those who are above water will end up with less, but something.
Apropos of nothing, I just looked at the Australian sovereign debt yield curve, and 10-year bonds real yield is now only just positive in real terms. 3-Year real yield is negative, and the curve is inverted at the short end. This tells me that the market is pricing for a very risky time for the next 3 years. (BTW in the US, the 10-year bond has negative real yield at the moment.).
Might be time to buy some 15-year bonds as a hedge. They are trading at 112/3.69 at the moment, but if the shit hits the fan, their price will go up big-time. If the shit doesn't hit the fan, the should hold their value for at least another 12 months.
Oh. Keep drinking that VB, keep driving that Falcon and keep your powder dry.

What are the chances of having an Operation Twist or QE in Oz flattening out the long end of the curve?
I'm not moops, but thanks for the double compliment (I also <3 moops work).
I should be dictator of the whole world. I'd only take, maybe 5 girls for myself. I'm not greedy.
stinkbug omosessuale Frank Castle is a liar and a criminal. He will often deliberately take people out of context and use straw man arguments. Frank finally and unintentionally gives it up and admits he got where he is, primarily via dumb luck! See here Property will be 50-70% off by 2016.
Hey Audus, what makes you the so called fucking expert on all things Architecture, Music, Food etc.
I like my Australian made Brick Veneer, made by some of the best tradesmen in the world. and I tell you what it shits all over most of the crap holes you see in Europe.

In short piss off you pretentious twat.
^^ I find it hard to believe THIS GUY has ever left our shores. I support builders but "Best tradesmen in the world " !?!? puh-lease.
