What? Parasitic scum blaming the victim again? What a cowardly man you are.
stinkbug omosessuale

Frank Castle is a liar and a criminal. He will often deliberately take people out of context and use straw man arguments.
Frank finally and unintentionally gives it up and admits he got where he is, primarily via dumb luck!

Property will be 50-70% off by 2016.

What case were you expecting me to make? Let me know and I will revisit tomorrow when I have more time.

I don't want to live in the same electorate as Baby Boomers. The reasons for which, you seem to be seeking a long political or economic discourse on. I may indulge you, but am first curious as to why you think it is important?

Are you saying that before I can live in a community without BBs, I have to convince you that I have the right to do so?

I'm not asking how to remove a section of the community at gunpoint, I am asking if there are already communities in which that section of the population have already VOLUNTARILY removed themselves from because they don't like it.

Let me know what you were expecting me to convince you (and larger audience) of.

Incidentally, you have Stockholm Syndrome.
- You first asked where Boomers hate to live, because you want to live where they don't, relatively speaking.
- You further implied that your desired locale was one where Boomers have less influence "especially when it comes to local government representation."
- Indeed, you further stated that your objective "is to get some kind of political representation on any level".

So I suggested, not illogically, that you might pursue the latter "by expressing specific ideas or policies, and trying to achieve majoritarian support for those, from *all* Australian citizens of voting age".

I haven't even remotely stated that you shouldn't be able to live in whatever area that happens to have the demographic characteristics you like best, but have certainly implied that you may need to travel far (e.g. beyond mainland Australia), to find a place matching those characteristics in any meaningful way.

As for Stockholm Syndrome, I am guilty. I have been captured by Australians of all adult ages, and respect their right to vote.

1. Yes, and I am still asking the question.

2. You are putting words into my mouth. Less votes means less influence. You are implying that I want to take the vote away from Boomers. Not so. To try would be futile. My desire was to live in an area that had less Boomers. It follows from that there would be less political influence, no?

3. Yes, by being in a majority. As long as you are in a minority, you can not, and will not ever wield any political power. Even more so in a preference based voting system (vs. first past the post). I'm not sure what you find so difficult to understand about that.

4. Yes, and I suggested that your suggestion was preposterous, because as long as the 'specific idea or policy' did not have the support of the those who wield the balance of power, it will never be implemented. This is simply how Democracy WORKS.

5. Yes, and I took your suggestion at face value, even though you offered it facetiously, and asked you why you thought that remote islands off the mainland would be un-attractive to Boomers.

6. Again, you put words in my mouth. I am not trying to take away someone's right to vote, I simply want to leverage the simple democratic power of being in a majority, because that's how political power is decided in a Democracy based on preferential voting. i.e. by the largest voting block.
As the largest voting block is the Boomers, and as they will never vote for any policy that benefits me or anyone in my generation, I don't think it's really that unreasonable an ambition. You disagree?

I think you should quote me where I said or implied that I wanted to remove voting rights for anyone or reveal the hidden meaning behind that claim.

5. Yes, and I took your suggestion at face value, even though you offered it facetiously, and asked you why you thought that remote islands off the mainland would be un-attractive to Boomers.

Where did you do that, in relation to my original suggestion..?

But to answer your question, Macquarie Island is by its nature the temporary home to an isolated circle of grad and post-grad students. There might be an occasional GenX or Boomer there "hunting rabbits", but it's still, ah, fertile ground for your purposes.
