Yes, CO2 changes over billions of years - so why is it increasing so rapidly now over a 150 year period? Can you find me a relative acceleration rate of CO2 levels anytime in the past, or do you believe it was always fluctuating this rapidly in the past but we just didn't have the modern instruments to measure to this resolution?
Humans contribute to CO2 emissions, but we don't know exactly how CO2 levels impact the climate in general, and we don't (and never will) have sufficient data to be able to determine whether or not recent changes in the climate (temperatures, sea levels, extreme weather events, ice caps etc) are unusual compared to historical cycles over the past few billion years.

3. Housing is second highest taxed sector of Australian Economy. Renters subsidised by highly taxed homeowners.
4. Ongoing improvement in housing affordability. Australian household formation faster than population growth since 1960s.

So you have no data for your assertions re volcanoes, ocean currents etc? None?

Peer-reviewed? Here, 23 March 2012:

You'll need to try harder than that.

Syracuse University scientist seeks to set the record straight on climate research Recent media reports misrepresent his research
Mar 28, 2012 | Article by: Judy Holmes

Ikaite crystal found in sediment cores drilled off the coast of Antarctica.

Recently published climate research by Zunli Lu, a geochemist in the Department of Earth Sciences in Syracuse University’s College of Arts and Sciences, has gone viral across the Internet by bloggers. A number of media outlets, including the Daily Mail and The Register, which are published in the United Kingdom, claim this research supports arguments that human-induced global warming is a myth. The claims, Lu says, misrepresent his work and the conclusions in the study. The statement below is an effort to set the record straight. The original news story about the research is posted on Arts and Sciences News.

Zunli Lu:
“It is unfortunate that my research, “An ikaite record of late Holocene climate at the Antarctic Peninsula,” recently published in Earth and Planetary Science Letters, has been misrepresented by a number of media outlets.

Several of these media articles assert that our study claims the entire Earth heated up during medieval times without human CO2 emissions. We clearly state in our paper that we studied one site at the Antarctic Peninsula. The results should not be extrapolated to make assumptions about climate conditions across the entire globe. Other statements, such as the study “throws doubt on orthodoxies around global warming,” completely misrepresent our conclusions. Our study does not question the well-established anthropogenic warming trend.”

Seriously - of course Co2 is connected to warming. This is not in debate.

I reiterate that that climate change deniers will look back on this period with embarrassment.
Why do you describe the issue of human created climate change as climate change??

It is weird you keep saying climate change when you do not mean that.

And i dont deny that C02 can warm the planet and is warming the planet.

Your language is odd and tedious.

Edit: Reading thru the conversation with Shadow and Thatguy the same use of Climate change occurs.

Reading the news these days i had got the impression the media was now focusing on climate change rather than AGW.

What are people talking about?? And why does it appear people are hoodwinking the public by talking about climate change when they mean AGW?

What a bullshit reply.

Why do you say climate change when you mean AGW?

Why do you have to be so cowardly about it?

Yes mate, come back when you can come up with peer-reviewed literature (instead of a press release from almost 10 years ago) to support what you are saying.
The Harvard-Smithsonian Centre review of 200 climate studies post dates the Michael Mann assertion that the MWP was confined to Europe and near areas in his 2002 paper "Medieval Climatic Optimum" here.

The current climate change is AGW so I see no reason why not use it. You obviously know what I mean what I say it so what's the problem?

The Lu et al study refutes the IPCC/Mann claim that the MWP was confined to Europe and near to, regardless of how it was reported.

Do you have any data yet to support your claim re the MWP and volcanos and ocean currents compared to now?

Why are you pointing to the Mann et al paper of 2008 which the data suppliers have asserted adopts upside down proxies?

Why are you pointing to papers fabricated by a thoroughly discredited author of hockey stick infamy?

More bullshit

We do not know what proportion of current climate change is due to humans

Your language is unscientific and therefore confusing

My links were to literature from 2008 and 2009, not 2002. Your press release was from 2003.

And if you really, truly want data about the causes of warming in the MWP then please see the links below. If you want to just argue then find some biased news article and post it up.

The Lu et al study adds new information to the equation. It doesn't refute it.
