Science has been having a pretty good run since the dark ages. The would be the first issue on which we've had a large secular based move against science.
As far as climate modeling goes there is no perfectly accurate climate model. There can be no perfectly accurate predication about the future climate.
But broadly speaking the Greenhouse effect already in existence and is the reason why the Earth isn't a frozen wasteland. If the CO2 level reaches 560 ppmbv, that will be double the pre-industrial level. Arrhenius a century ago predicted at this level another ice age would not occur. He also predicted that average surface would rise by 4C over pre-industrial. It might prove only to be 3C. At that point mankind has a last choice to prevent a scenario which may endanger his own existence. If the level of CO2 doubles again to 1160 ppmbv, the ice caps and glaciers will be on the way out. The average temperature will rise another 1.5C to 2C and this point the climate will be similar to that of the dinosaur era.
The latter level of CO2 will diminish the respiration of most animal life-forms. Therefore with increasing acidosis of the blood, chronic disease will become more prevalent. Only birds have the super efficient breathing system that can cope with this. Mammals would become increasingly stunted in size.
However it is not the role of science to tell humanity what to do, that is politics. The role of science is to simply state the facts.
The next trick of our glorious banks will be to charge us a fee for using net bank!!! You are no longer customer, you are property!!!
That carbon dioxide causes warming is well established by physics theory and decades of laboratory measurements. This is confirmed by satellite and surface measurements that observe an enhanced greenhouse effect at the wavelengths that carbon dioxide absorb energy.
That statement is typical of the kind of statement you see from people who advocate C02 from humans can cause dangerous warming of the Earth.
There is almost no science at all to establish the role C02 plays in the atmosphere and typical satellite data is far too chaotic to show any contribution by C02. All the graphs you see where C02 is suggested to have an impact are cherry picked or constructed without reference to the real world where water is overwhelming the most important contributor to the earth being warmer.
Could you point to peer-reviewed research with evidence showing the extent to which anthropogenic CO2 is influencing our climate? And the degree of influence of human-created CO2 is completely unknown.
Your assertions there are not accurate.
The rise in temperature has been measured against the changes in Co2.
The changes in Co2 are compared to measure the differences between naturally occurring Co2 against Co2 from human emissions.
Both of these key elements are now undisputed and also why you don't hear from sceptics anymore.

Australian Property Forum is an economics and finance forum dedicated to discussion of Australian and global real estate markets and macroeconomics, including house prices, housing affordability, and the likelihood of a property crash. These are the questions we address on Australian Property Forum, the premier real estate site for property bears, bulls, investors, and speculators. Members may also discuss matters related to finance, modern monetary theory (MMT), debt deflation, cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin Ethereum and Ripple, property investing, landlords, tenants, debt consolidation, reverse home equity loans, the housing shortage, negative gearing, capital gains tax, land tax and macro prudential regulation.
