Oh, stop trying to justify your pathological poo-stirring behaviour.
What?
Your the one who said that apartments are unsuitable for families to live in
I ask why, when plenty of other counties population manage just fine
And now you refuse to answer because you consider it "poo stirring"
WTF?

I actually think that Frank does have very sensible things to say at times - at other times, he seems to have a compulsive need to fight.
Catweasel laugh. Frankie a Frankie and one the most entertaining among zealot. Its salt-of-earth appeal remind a Catweasel of a aspirational provincial mindset combined for a love of the good old a Australia where everybody speak a English, take a no shit, and know its place. Our Frankie one of best parody of forum.
you were trying to suggest that because constructions here weren't WORSE than anywhere else, that they are acceptable.
I said this was not necessarily true.
it is normal conversation, or debate..
at least among normal people...
an example: Lady Gaga is the best pop singer at the moment. she is still shit.
Right So once again, you fail to say where the supposed better builds are (compared to here) Here is shit because Mathew says so
Well guess what Mathew, as I have suggested to you before, if you are not happy with the quality of build, get off your arse employ your own team and ensure the project is done to your standards, not the Australian Building Standards and stop relying on others to provide for you
And FFS don't come back here bleating that it ended up costing you more than what property is currently on sale for.

This article is nonsense. It starts on about the fantasy of house with yard etc for your family then goes on to say gen y's are happily living in apartments. What's A got to do with B? Gen Y, young, mostly childless. Certainly no mention of any families living in these social apartments. Ok so I'm gen x and not from oz but isn't it pretty common for young people to live in apartments or shared houses? Really what was the point of this article?
Personally I think apartment living could work for families if set up for families, but really not ideal, certainly the type of apartment living referred to in the article is not designed for families and I highly doubt the gen yers bumping into neighbours by the communal pool would welcome a bunch of screeching young kids!!!
why don't you just post some more images from the third world and tell us we're spoiled for wanting anything better than that...
Well if this is what you claim to be third world, bring it on.
And you deserve better?

Personally, I found the teen aged- early twenties corey lookalikes playing their shite music around the pool and partying loudly in their apartments in the complex I stayed in, far more annoying.
I found the young kids were tame in comparison
