Might be good time for a young guy like me to move into a real estate agent role if all the deadwood is leaving. This is all a positive thing. If you can't cut it selling houses or mortgages, leave.

They've just cleaned the decks so maybe its time to get in early before the next round of price growth and the inevitable upswing in turnover.

Yeah. And like I think, they want people with the right attitude. I'm young and not afraid of failing. The losers are probably too old to think of new ideas and to work hard.
Also, I will be in the industry that I really want to be in.
Just had a brother in law (similar age to future, in his 20's) pack it in as a business broker, with struggling debts of a car (financed on optimistic times) and rents.

future, I'm willing to put a 5er on that you are not the youngest person signed on this board. And another 5er that there is many people in their 20's on this board too.

I can't help but agree you'd be a perfect fit for this profession. The white collar job for the blue collar worker.
Its actually very hard to get a mining job with zero skills in the industry.
False. It is extremely easy to get a job on the mines.
Please check your facts. We have 140% turnover of staff in some locations. Thousands of jobs and no one has the balls to do it. I've had 3 blokes and 1 woman cry to me in the office and quit because the works too much. No qualifications needed. Cleaning, setting up donngas, cutting grass, washing down cars, admin girls, driving shuttle busses back and forth ever 30 mins from camps to site. Easy easy work. Food and accom provided on 7 sites for multiple companies pools Foxtel everything. Most people are lazy or don't have the mental stamina to do it. We are hiring Irish by the boatload (myself included) at the moment because locals don't want the work. The jobs are there waiting guys and effort = reward. Just apply to every labour hire company say you want to work on the mines and you get a job. We have people waking in with a vest and thongs and they get the job. Only other thing is, you have to pass a drug test. If you think you can stand 12 hour days 14 day weeks rotating day and nights weeks for 6 figures apply. Just Realised I shouldn't post the companies name Woops ;-P deleted.
I wouldnt be suprised to se most of thease guys and girls move into the aged care sector!
That would suit them in that they could get access to old people and try and steal their money.
But I don't think they could do it it would take a lot of courage and character to do that sort of work.
stinkbug omosessuale Frank Castle is a liar and a criminal. He will often deliberately take people out of context and use straw man arguments. Frank finally and unintentionally gives it up and admits he got where he is, primarily via dumb luck! See here Property will be 50-70% off by 2016.

Members may also discuss matters related to finance, modern monetary theory (MMT), debt deflation, cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin Ethereum and Ripple, property investing, landlords, tenants, debt consolidation, reverse home equity loans, the housing shortage, negative gearing, capital gains tax, land tax and macro prudential regulation.
