Discussing Muslims in relation to migration and national values is fine, discriminating against them as a person is not. Several countries, including France most notably, are now dealing with complete Muslim states as generally Muslim birth rates globally have been historically high and now that have demographic momentum.
Good on the French for finally starting to act on the muslim problem they have gotten themselves into.
We need to ban the burka in any publicly funded facility as soon as possible. But oh my, won't the traitorous inner city bleeding hearts cry a river over that.
I hear in France that some people are removing the veils and burkas by force in the street if they see someone wearing one now. That is citizen activism for you and although it can not be condoned it is understandable. It is too bad that we do not have the political parties here that would step up as they have there and say that's enough. Start behaving or we will come down on you like the hand of God.
Lets see what some other advanced nations are doing:
French minister for interior saying that multiculturalism has failed the republic. Germany chancellor saying that multiculturalism has failed and they will now be proceeding down the path of assimilation and more selective immigration. Netherlands attempting to deal with what they refer to as their home grown "muslim problem". Switzerland cracking down on guest worker visa abuses and commencing with more deportations of known trouble makers than has ever been seen before. Austria saying that they will be reviewing immigration in light of recent brutal attacks on women by muslim males.
What are we doing? Rolling over and saying please be gentle like some prison bitch...
That's right, its different here in Australia isn't it?
yes, welcome back Master Berg, odd day to come back, just a a media attack.....lol
Data and knowledge can be a strong attractor, I guess.
Nah. He has just come back to make an idiot of himself again. I knew he was to weak to stay away and would be back. He has now shown himself to be the liar he is. He said he would never be back yet here is. What other lies has he told you all.
Still going on this vein. Sounds like a crusade for you Jordan

The way you write does sound like you would condone this type of behaviour for the greater good. Pray tell, which god would it be with whose hand they would be smitten?
Could we survive with no immigration? No, not is our emigration continues to peak.
What do you think would happen if immigration ceased tomorrow? That we would all ultimately perish or be conquered by a foreign nation or die off once our population reached a steady state figure of *gasp* 20 million?
We are as exposed to military adventures as we always have been. 20milion or 100 million wont change that. War is a technical endeavor nowadays and we do have allies in other western democracies.
I would really like you to think about what you said and tell me why Australia would not survive with low immigration or even zero if that is required for your postulate.
How does bringing in literally millions of people over the longer term with values, customs and laws completely inimical to our own ensure our survival. I can see how it may ensure their survival but as for ours I think it may well have the opposite affect.
As for your remark about the large number of young people leaving Australia and not coming back, immigration is one of the many reason they have for making a life elsewhere. Australia has a population growth rate that is higher than India and far higher than China. Quality of life here has been continually degraded for young people, to the point now where they feel no great allegiance to a country that values them so very little.
Immigration is central to many of the problems this country faces whether that be high housing costs due to greater and greater competition for the available homes, overstretched infrastructure that can not support the number of people, law and order issues as our the crowding and increasing poverty of many raises the amount of crime committed.
Until these issues are addressed and proper planning put in place as to how we will accommodate 50 million in just 40 more years we should call a halt to this failed social experiment. It is essentially just selling the birthrights of future Australians and we have no right to do that. We have no right at all to hand this country over to immigrants in the name of growth.
They have a high percentage youth, one of the highest in the world a population pry mid that is set for growth, not decline like ours.
Sorry, just had to set you straight. Nice CIA bots .......
You are also missing the point. Immigration has fallen off a cliff, you win.
Now to address is we had 0% immigration. People are leaving Oz in droves, in fact at historical highs and showing no signs of getting better really. So 0 in would not mean 0 out and there is the problem as this would put us well below 1% growth including births over deaths. Is there a problem with a population of 22 million that continues on, well yes, as the majority are over 35 and the fiscal gaps associated with the Ageing population will drown the workers in tax. Support and dependency ratios would be major problem as the population continues to age as awhile due to longevity. We have less kids now than in 1990 as a percentage and the CIA numbers above will clearly show the lack of youth compared to many countries around the world. We simply would not have enough kids of working age to support the fully retired BB's and still create any real future for them, apart from massive deficits and growing national debt, unlike a scale seen before in the history of Australia. The GFC pales in comparison. Really complex issue and needs far greater minds than I working on it. My question is, are they? Negative long term visitors should be hitting the MSM soon, in the context of our migrations rapid decline in arrivals and peaking permanent departures.
I will give you some figures that give you some idea of how rapidly Australia is growing and how amazing it is that this has been kept as an open secret without people being up in arms. Maybe they simply do not grasp the numbers and after all what is a mere 2% or so.
At just 2.3% growth Australia will have a population of around 45 million in just 30 years.
At the growth rate that many business leaders have been calling for with the exception of the insane ones who think 5% or greater is quite reasonable i.e a range between 3.5 and 4% p/a we could reach 45 million as soon as 17 years to 20 years away.
Do you see the planning, infrastructure and housing development occurring to support that number of people? No, I didn't think so. They will be drinking salt water in Adelaide soon at the rate we are going. Our environment cannot sustain those numbers crammed into dry capital cities or indeed flooded capital cities.
If you want to live like someone in Hong Kong or the way we seem to be going, Mogadishu, you should buy a ticket and give it a try. The very qualities that made Australia a desirable place to live have been rapidly eroded and will continue to be. I do not blame the young for seeking greener pastures but it is a damning indictment of both our leaders lack of planning and their failed immigration policies.
