So are you saying that I should lie?
The Jehovas Witness who lectures me on the doorstep is telling the truth as far as he is concerned. As far as I am concerned, every word he speaks is a lie. I respond with my truth and he walks away convinced that he will never save the liar he just tried to rescue.

Your truth is a lie to me. My truth is a lie to you.

And never the twain shall meet.

Matthew, 30 Jan 2016, 09:21 AM Your simplistic view is so flawed it is not worth debating. The current oversupply will be swallowed in 12 months. By the time dumb shits like you realise this prices will already be :?: rising.

That is a bit far fetched though and why talk to Mormons on your doorstep if you don't like what they have to say, is it a long conversation that you have.

Just saying that it is good time for the dude to buy a house in Perth, nothing of biblical proportions.

You don't live in Perth but you advocate buying in Perth right now (you also advocate buying anywhere all of the time).

Something to do with a cycle or something.

Not nutty at all.

Yes, exactly.

Not in your book.

But we don't all read the same book.

Owner Builder.

Just missed out on 980 m block in Morley for 400k.

Looking to sell both in around 18 months to 2 years. Hopefully.

Thoughts?

Btw hi everyone it has been a while. :bye:
Hi Good luck.

Are you in the building industry???

Building costs have reduced.

I have enough land to build 50 housing units.

But what is the point??

Just have to pay tax...

It's probably the right time.

There is still some downside, but it looks to be levelling.

Still need to keep an eye on China. They may crap their pants if the USA starts to tighten.

Not much upside. But if you can find something you can add value to, go for it.
Whenever you have an argument with someone, there comes a moment where you must ask yourself, whatever your political persuasion, 'am I the Nazi?'

Dunno wot this dude knows, but according to him: "Perth's pain over recent years has seen its house prices fall back to fair value, according to Mr Dales"

The outer Perth suburbs lack any amenity, interest, architecture or personality. Built fast to make cheap and nasty homes for a profit. So much of Perth is sub-standard. And in 25 years we demolish these horrible houses and build even worse ones. What a dreadful system we have.

Australian Property Forum is an economics and finance forum dedicated to discussion of Australian and global real estate markets and macroeconomics, including house prices, housing affordability, and the likelihood of a property crash. Is there an Australian housing bubble? Will house prices crash, boom or stagnate? Is the Australian property market a pyramid scheme or Ponzi scheme? Can house prices really rise forever? These are the questions we address on Australian Property Forum, the premier real estate site for property bears, bulls, investors, and speculators. Members may also discuss matters related to finance, modern monetary theory (MMT), debt deflation, cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin Ethereum and Ripple, property investing, landlords, tenants, debt consolidation, reverse home equity loans, the housing shortage, negative gearing, capital gains tax, land tax and macro prudential regulation.

Forum Rules: The main forum may be used to discuss property, politics, economics and finance, precious metals, crypto currency, debt management, generational divides, climate change, sustainability, alternative energy, environmental topics, human rights or social justice issues, and other topics on a case by case basis. Topics unsuitable for the main forum may be discussed in the lounge. No spamming or advertising in the main forum. Spamming includes repeating the same message over and over again within a short period of time. Don't post ALL CAPS thread titles. The Advertising and Promotion Subforum may be used to promote your Australian property related business or service. Active members of the forum who contribute regularly to main forum discussions may also include a link to their product or service in their signature block.
