Golly agrees with this he just likes arguing semantics.
Clearly. Those who routinely lose debates love to pick on a small detail and never let it go. The argument about repossession of homes with loans in good standing due to capital value loss is a good example.

Too true. Shadow did the same thing there, calling banks Terms and Conditions "An information booklet".
Here he calls a Certificate of Title "a print out".
I don't understand this incredible need by freaks like him to mislead people over such basic information regarding home ownership and investment.

"vast array" of security features? It's a piece of paper with names and numbers on it.
The official record of ownership is stored electronically at the land titles office. I can run off as many printouts as I want, but what would be the point?
Could you imagine anyone being able to go online and print out a Certificate of Title🤔
They'd be able to come onto websites like this and claim they are big investors who hold $6,000,000 in land just because they found a printer on the tip.😂
They'd then have to attack the real thing as it undermines their psychotically generated little world where they are the big time property investor

Generally, the Land Titles Register held by the relevant jurisdiction is the authoritative source of information. I believe there are some titles that don't have to be registered, though.
And their socks would have to say meaningless shit like this so Shadow-Rat can come out and claim he has magical land that doesn't need to be registered.

You have wound yourself up so tightly on a topic you clearly don't understand that you literally cannot see the forest for the trees.
My only hope for my three boys is that they turn out nothing at all like Chris.

We all know that none of you big talking "property investors" actually owns property, and more than likely, given the Title Isis suggests with the mortgage documents, even had a mortgage.
Your all loud mouth, big talking idiots.

Just out of curiosity, am I supposed to have any important documents for my property? I have a mortgage so I don't own it outright, so does the bank essentially have the certificate and I don't get anything until the loan is paid off?

You think for a moment you don't need any important documents?
Really?

Poor old Golly is deeply obsessed with the printout of his title.
He thinks it protects him, even though many houses (owned outright) have been sold fraudulently without the owner's knowledge.
They clearly didn't have their title you fool. They probably had a printout though.

The land titles office hold the official record. Copies can be printed, but they don't do much to protect you.
Even if you hold a printout of the title, like Golly does, that doesn't stop fraudsters from stealing it, or simply forging another printout for themselves.
"The counterfeit title is an accurate representation... It is extremely difficult to identify the counterfeit... It is not unusual for fraudsters to have an excellent working knowledge of conveyancing procedures, and to falsely sign documents as a solicitor... fraudulent activities have, to date, invariably related to unencumbered properties..."
Your best defense is actually to keep the mortgage against your property. Then it can't be sold without the bank's permission.
