15,000 bridges, well they won't have to wait to cross the bay

This was no secret or surprise, especially now that the suburbanites are playing industrial commodities like Baccarat. That's right Roddy. The suburbanites wouldn't have a bar of it looking at that graph. And so they shouldn't, gold has no place in the suburbs of Australia.
Gold is for royalty and governments and the rich.
Not for the plebeians.

Not sure what Terry paid for his, but mine cost just shy of 1,400 bucks an ounce.
Foxbat, you've got to stop hitting the Bulls with facts. You'll only confuse them. I've noticed a lot of specufestors don't even dabble in stocks. This is because they are not really investors in the true sense. They're mostly just workaday people who lucked into the 2002 -> boom and found themselves making money. That's fine, nothing wrong with that. But then come the airs and graces. They start telling people how the Iron Ore market will go in order to prop up their fantasy of a recovery. They need to stick within their core competency; painting doors and fixing gutters.

'N thereby specifically empowering 'em ta invest their hard earned in truly productive shit like shares 'n bonds 'n bullion 'n toe nail painting businesses 'n wotever ...

I hear China has 98.5 Million tons of Iron Ore stock. Enough to build 15,000 San Francisco Bay bridges.
What is it with bears and being crap at maths? SF bay bridge contains 151,593 tons of steel. 15,000 times that is 2,273,895,000
Not even close, like your calls of a housing price crash

It is now worth 1,700 per ounce.
300 x 100 = your annual salary.
Or a nice world cruise for me and the missus.
I don't have to be concerned with annual salaries thanks to my investments. Your concern is touching though.
Honestly Jimbo your story is all over the place. First you claim you've only got a little bit of gold, now your telling us you bought $140,000 worth. Is the story now you have $170,000 worth of gold hidden in the dunny?? The wife sure is going to be mad if you get broken into and it's stolen.

Australian Property Forum is an economics and finance forum dedicated to discussion of Australian and global real estate markets and macroeconomics, including house prices, housing affordability, and the likelihood of a property crash. Is there an Australian housing bubble? Will house prices crash, boom or stagnate? Is the Australian property market a pyramid scheme or Ponzi scheme? Can house prices really rise forever? These are the questions we address on Australian Property Forum, the premier real estate site for property bears, bulls, investors, and speculators. Members may also discuss matters related to finance, modern monetary theory (MMT), debt deflation, cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin Ethereum and Ripple, property investing, landlords, tenants, debt consolidation, reverse home equity loans, the housing shortage, negative gearing, capital gains tax, land tax and macro prudential regulation.
