Off topic (not that I can be bothered looking to see wot the original topic was ... ), but for some reason or other I've developed this suspicion that you are just one more disgruntled Yank expat on this site dude?
Now listen ya'll. Ah ain't gotta take no cottin' pickin' sheet from anyone nohow, ya hear?
Poor WA. $39B in debt. If only there could have been a once in a century commodities boom they could have collected resource taxes on to pay off some of that burden.
You are a truly dumb f*** aren't you Socki?
Perhaps if you took the time to look at the composition of income of WA and compare it to, oh I don't know, NSW you would see a small difference.
Perhaps it comes in the form of the GST return between the two. Perhaps add in the stamp duty boom that NSW are collecting on their red hot property market. An perhaps add in pokie tax that is not included in GST distribution calculation.
Perhaps compare the infrastructure costs to accommodate the massive population increase that occurred at the same time we sent a net $6bn in GST receipts to the other states.
Then look at Qld.
Then go grab Takuan, download some sock porn and rub yourself to happiness you clueless f***ing clown.

Awww that's sweet. I wonder which state will lose half a billion to bail out the incompetent f^ckwits that managed to triple the state's debt in the greatest revenue bonanza in a century.
You dumb f***. Between 2009/10 and 2015/16 WA government revenue has increased a massive $4bn. Some f***ing boom f***tard. We send more GST to the other states than the gross increase in our own income.
Seriously you are the dumbest f*** on this forum. And the forum includes Terry and Drunkbat.

Australian Property Forum is an economics and finance forum dedicated to discussion of Australian and global real estate markets and macroeconomics, including house prices, housing affordability, and the likelihood of a property crash. Is there an Australian housing bubble? Will house prices crash, boom or stagnate? Is the Australian property market a pyramid scheme or Ponzi scheme? Can house prices really rise forever? These are the questions we address on Australian Property Forum, the premier real estate site for property bears, bulls, investors, and speculators. Members may also discuss matters related to finance, modern monetary theory (MMT), debt deflation, cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin Ethereum and Ripple, property investing, landlords, tenants, debt consolidation, reverse home equity loans, the housing shortage, negative gearing, capital gains tax, land tax and macro prudential regulation.
