Won't anyone spare a thought for poor little short Billy's feelings?

HE must be TOTALLY devastated! LOL

PS: Any news on where Tony's gunna get ta be ambassador to?

yeah, I guess the ALP will regret not bothering to run hard in Canning.

Two small l Liberals in charge... hmm

It will certainly be an interesting time, watching the Nationals fight with Turnbull, watching the right wing of the Coalation fight with Turnbull, watching the 45 who voted against him fight with Turnbull.

I am intested to see if Pyne lands on his feet... If Turnbull rams through university fee deregulation compliments of Pyne, then little has changed.
Shadow - Defrauded his Bank ? 2015 I have 9 different loans and my bank had no idea which ones were personal and which were investment. They had half of them classed incorrectly. When this change came in they asked me to tell them if any personal loans were incorrectly classed as investment, which I did, and they switched them to personal for the lower rate. They also had a couple of investment loans incorrectly classed as personal. They didn't ask me about those. So they stay on the lower rate too. Worked out pretty well. :)

Funny ole world; I still spare a thought occasionally for the poor bastard of a German 5 billionaire who on finding his assets decimated to $500 mill in the GFC, went out and threw himself under a train.

yes, I laughed out loud when I heard that.

If he had simply put off the vote till after Friday, he would be on a PM's pension for life.

The Turnbull-Abott-Turnbull leadership spill was not as impressive as the Rudd-Gillard-Rudd, but it may very well eat up the party if the night of the long knives extends for months.

Australia turns bull. That's got to be good for house prices.
I'll add it to the endless list. It makes about as much sense as the other fundamentals the bulls cling to.

We are screwed.
Common sense is a curse - those who have it need to suffer dealing with those who don't have it.

Jonathan Pearlman reports that the rumour of Tony Abbott's missing out on $600,000 ex prime minister pension is not quite right:
"From what I can tell, he will miss out on a loading on his pension because he will miss the two year mark as prime minister by four days. But the loading would be worth an extra $20,000 a year, on top of his likely pension of about $307,000."

I'm not too worried about Tony. He's a slam-dunk for post-PM jobs like delivering newspapers for Murdoch, or shovelling coal for Gautam Adani.

If worst comes to worst, surely Prince Philip will find something for him to do at Windsor Castle.

Australian Property Forum is an economics and finance forum dedicated to discussion of Australian and global real estate markets and macroeconomics, including house prices, housing affordability, and the likelihood of a property crash. Is there an Australian housing bubble? Will house prices crash, boom or stagnate? Is the Australian property market a pyramid scheme or Ponzi scheme? Can house prices really rise forever? These are the questions we address on Australian Property Forum, the premier real estate site for property bears, bulls, investors, and speculators. Members may also discuss matters related to finance, modern monetary theory (MMT), debt deflation, cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin Ethereum and Ripple, property investing, landlords, tenants, debt consolidation, reverse home equity loans, the housing shortage, negative gearing, capital gains tax, land tax and macro prudential regulation.
