"Citing a 2015 survey of 1,134 people aged 16 to 49, Japan Times found that almost 18 percent have little or no interest on sex, including some who even admits to extreme dislike of intimacy. When the survey focused on the age group 25 to 29, the proportion of men not interested in sex grows to 20.3 percent, up by 2.5 times compared to the same period in 2008."

It's the ultimate form of rebellion by a generation who think they were thrown under the bus to pay for Japan's post war "economic miracle".

Best of luck to them!

Think I'll look for a Japanese lady then - One who doesn't want a relationship; As I don't want a relationship - And we can both not have a relationship - Together.

With it being that commonality of interest (or more specifically non-interest) that would keep us together (in our chosen 'apartness'?)

And what a better world it might be that way?

Thinking it all through a bit more maybe:

Jews and Arabs could get along so much better if they would only learn to focus a bit more on some commonality of interest (or non-interest) - Like their mutual aversion to pork ... :)

Then they could agree to both not eat pork - Together ...

Jeez, this interpersonal relationships/inter-race/inter-religion/international/inter-whatever relationships shite is just so potentially shit easy hey? ... :) :) :)

I will tell you what I think is strange. Its this mainstream media notion that we all need to have a couple of babies, just like our parents, have them all enjoy the same thing (mostly), make sure all our suburbs look alike, make sure there is no graffiti anywhere (Brisbane city council) and just keep doing all again just to keep the human species going? It all seams a bit odd to me.

I wonder as we rush, rush, rush, to get everything done each day, what the useful purpose is. Sometimes I think it all seems a little pointless.

Maybe its causing people to flip out.

200 years ago prior to the machine age in everyday life, women were highly dependent on men because of the strength factor. Nature made up for the physical weakness of women by making them far more cunning than men. It's largely forgotten today that for example a 16 year old women has the mental maturity of a 20 year old male.

Despite the legal equality ambitions of socialist dreamers serious scientific study has revealed men and women are very different animals in more ways than the obvious.

Actuality women have a much greater advantage in the machine and computer age. They have superior dexterity (better at pushing buttons) and multitasking (better at keeping many things on the boil). Male and female brains have very different wiring.

Real men are now obsolete. :re:

The he-men feel it, they are lost. Hence the rise of the metro-sexual, men who are closer to female qualities. A recent study showed that women of 1st world nations prefer metro-sexual men as partners. The opposite being the case in more violent societies.

Mr Colt made them equal? No Colt made women more equal, women due to superior dexterity are more accurate shots than men on average. However in combat men are more decisive and more capable of quickly gunning down an opponent. When it comes to it men are just more singled minded than women.

Previous society created a necessary efficiency by dividing the tasks of the sexes. There is possibly a social risk here as men form violent gangs to criminally undermine the society they feel is against them.

However 300 years hence, the commodities that fuel the machine age will be economically exhausted and the he-man will return. :D

Oh for the days of women in skirts scrubbing the floor. What a turn on! :to:

The latest absurdity is the push to change the marriage act which still recognizes difference.

First female robots will replace human females. Then flesh/robotic hybrid.

Finally advanced cloning means you can order celebrity DNA and 3D print an adult human female on order. It being a clone, only has a lifespan of 3-5 years before it dies and disposed of. Obsolescence will be good for sales.

The hottest and most good looking women will copyrght and offer their DNA for sale. The first trillionaire will be the guy to create the chain from DNA to home delivery, maintenance of said female (through cocktail of drugs and nutrients), and finally disposal. And get legislation to legalise it and reverse the scientific ban on cloning.

Men will slave away at their jobs hoping they can save for a 3D printed model of their favorite celebrity. Or maybe their high school dream girl. They will go through 10 in their lifetime at the averge of 1 every 3-5 years of a typical 50 year adult working life.

The rich men can have a whole harem.
