It is hard to see how this will not affect the US. But I doubt the US will act in the East's interest. China acted to protect herself in the GFC. The US will do the same. What will happen when China liquidates its reserves?
One hour to go. Down 3% and no signs of dip buyers.
Investors sensing there's more bad news to come tomorrow, possibly the whole week, looks like.

It is so funny watching all you drama queens predicting Armageddon on the back of a rocky shares market ride.
Every 2-3% change you guys think we are headed for the 1920's or the 2007 crashes. How the devil you think that a share market that has been stagnant for almost a decade can find the slack to crash I do not know.
Definition of a doom and gloomer from 1993 The last camp is made up of the doom-and-gloomers. Their slogan is "it's the end of the world as we know it". Right now they are convinced that debt is the evil responsible for all our economic woes and must be eliminated at all cost. Many doom-and-gloomers believe that unprecedented debt levels mean that we are on the precipice of a worse crisis than the Great Depression. The doom-and-gloomers hang on the latest series of negative economic data.

Well, if it was a healthy market, it wouldn't be stagnant for a decade in the first place.
Let me assure you that this isn't one of those shady pyramid schemes that you've been hearing about. No sir, our model is the Trapezoid which guarantees each investor an 800% return within hours. Those who can, do. Those who can't, teach. "It's an itchy blanket, it's designed to remind you how lucky you are"

If it wasn't for these guys you'd still be long on resources wouldn't you? F lol
WHAT WOULD EDDIE DO? MAAAATE! Share a cot with Milton?
Damn looks like market capitulated. For today anyway.
We'll see on end of the week. Would they dip buy coming into the traditional month of doom?
Given that support has now broken down I suspect we will see 4800-ish before any serious attempt at another consolidation. As a result, I'm personally not "dip buying" my next tranche until we see that level.
For Aussie property bears, "denial", is not just a long river in North Africa.....
Australian Property Forum is an economics and finance forum dedicated to discussion of Australian and global real estate markets and macroeconomics, including house prices, housing affordability, and the likelihood of a property crash. Is there an Australian housing bubble? Will house prices crash, boom or stagnate? Is the Australian property market a pyramid scheme or Ponzi scheme? Can house prices really rise forever? These are the questions we address on Australian Property Forum, the premier real estate site for property bears, bulls, investors, and speculators. Members may also discuss matters related to finance, modern monetary theory (MMT), debt deflation, cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin Ethereum and Ripple, property investing, landlords, tenants, debt consolidation, reverse home equity loans, the housing shortage, negative gearing, capital gains tax, land tax and macro prudential regulation.
