BTW I can't wait for this post to get deleted as well, it appears any rhetoric questioning the validity of the site and posters is removed forth with.
Nothing gets deleted here, worse case your post gets moved to the lounge
Also, fwiw your suspicion of paid socks posting from Mumbai isn't accurate.bThis place is addictive due to it's no BS nature, but you already know that. You just haven't embraced the devil yet
I thought one of the endearing qualities of this site is that you can piss and moan. The accusation that Chris is making is that he's getting posts deleted as part of some housing mafia conspiracy. Which from my experience is complete crap.
I think Chris has had a few copious swigs at the cooking sherry, but I can understand that housing prices in this nation might sometimes do that to people.

Absolutely, in fact posting here it can be a good outlet for that, especially when you're also forced to be part of the machine that encourages them to stay high, just so you can earn a reasonable wage to feed your family.
But it's also important to show a little decorum, and throwing around wild accusations of a conspiracy is just not cricket.
"It were not best that we should all think alike; it is difference of opinion that makes horse races." - Mark Twain on why he avoids discussing house prices over at MacroBusiness. "Buy land, they're not making any more of it." - Georgist Land Tax proponent Mark Twain laughing in his grave at humourless idiots like skamy that continually use this quip to justify housing bubbles.
Suck it up, while some have scenic views of their cities river, it's their own piece of oz & it's not dictated by any one else as to when to the next inspection is & to do what they damn like in their home.. Because its theirs.
Brilliant.
A two level luxury home with an open design that includes a home office, , pool, spa & entertainment area, with a nice cellar stocked with quality booze for personal & entertaining those they value in their life. .
Because its theirs.
Suck it up.
Newjerk? can you try harder than dig up another person's blog. My first promo was with Billabong and my name in English is modified with a T, am Perth born but also lived in Sydney to make my $$ It's Absolutely Fabulous if it includes brilliant locations, & high calibre tenants..what more does one want? Understand the power of the two "P"" or be financially challenged Even better when there is family who are property mad and one is born in some entitlements.....Understand that beautiful women are the exhibitionists we crave attention, whilst hot blooded men are the voyeurs ... A stunning woman can command and takes pleasure in being noticed. Seems not too many understand what it means to hold and own props and get threatened by those who do. Banks are considered to be law abiding and & rather boring places yeah not true . A bank balance sheet will show capital is dwarfed by their liabilities this means when a portions of loans is falling its problems for the bank.

Chris lives in a parallel world that doesn't involve personal contact with real human beings.

John, I don't recall ever mentioning the mafia, but now you've mentionrd it...............??? I'll get right onto that, when you really start to think about it, who's not involved?!
Mate their is no conspiracy as such just a thought that things might be something other than they appear. Just because a restaurant owner will go onto a review website like urban spoon and ratshit his/her competitor, posting under numerous alias's doesn't make it a conspiracy.
And the thought it would be poorly paid Mumbai residence is nothing close to what I was thinking. My thoughts were more centred around highly educated, highly invested individuals who are motivated to bamboozal the average punter with bullshit until they scarper away feeling ignorant, deflated and defeated. Eg. Shadow, his responses are numerous and with such viger you would think his whole lively hood depended on defending the virtues of property and property investment.
It's unnatural for anyone to be so pro something that is such an individually beneficial thing. If I made millions from property what would I gain from discussing it with others and or spend hours defending it, more over raging for others to get in on the game as well?
Right me off as a lunatic that's fine but if you think about it just a little bit more you will possible see it just doesn't quite add up for some posters here, not all.

I don't think you're a lunatic, many people have made similar observations. Look up the thread by misery bear in the lounge - that guy was batshit, but great value at the same time
Posting here is addictive, there are a couple of socks but the majority are individuals who are great people willing to help anyone who genuinely needs it..
Australian Property Forum is an economics and finance forum dedicated to discussion of Australian and global real estate markets and macroeconomics, including house prices, housing affordability, and the likelihood of a property crash. Is there an Australian housing bubble? Will house prices crash, boom or stagnate? Is the Australian property market a pyramid scheme or Ponzi scheme? Can house prices really rise forever? These are the questions we address on Australian Property Forum, the premier real estate site for property bears, bulls, investors, and speculators. Members may also discuss matters related to finance, modern monetary theory (MMT), debt deflation, cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin Ethereum and Ripple, property investing, landlords, tenants, debt consolidation, reverse home equity loans, the housing shortage, negative gearing, capital gains tax, land tax and macro prudential regulation.
