The Dr Watson attitude of " if you don't like the changes in Australia then piss off" is pretty tiring and shallow.
As citizens of Australia are allowed to voice our disagreement with policies. Since this is a democracy we can canvass the opinions of others and we can vote to change them back, or not have them at all. A public forum is a good place for such a discussion.
The idea of "if you don't like it then piss off" is one view point that legitimately unaustralian.

We are (still) allowed to voice our opinions even if they don't agree with government policy. The ability to think for oneself is not a crime.
Common sense is a curse - those who have it need to suffer dealing with those who don't have it.
well, since you reckon that learning control-c and control-v is a sign of intelligence, I reckon you could be right about yerself being the kind of moron that goes round sticking yer dick in a wall socket .... and being a connoisseur of irony I greatly enjoyed the way you got the spelling of intelligent wrong ,,, onya genius!
but since you brung it up, since the average person today is a dribbling dimwit like yerself, why bother having laws at all? just turn up at the politburo in the morning to get yer assigned task, and kneel down and die when yer told to, right?
It's much harder to cut and paste on a tablet or phone.
Whenever you have an argument with someone, there comes a moment where you must ask yourself, whatever your political persuasion, 'am I the Nazi?'
Then pack your bags and piss off — at your earliest convenience.
I reckon you got me confused with someone who gives a flying fuck what a clueless fucktard like yerself thinks.

Well haven't you got it all figured out. What are you doing, collecting citizenship's? F C's like you shit me, never had any loyalty or good will, just a wandering star. Just cut and run, makes me wonder what the F you were doing here in the first place. Where you going to run to? Every western nation is equally F'ed and on the path to further degradation in no small part due to disloyal selfish pricks like yourself.
you aint real bright yeh? no worries mate, govs got a job for you in yer future ,,, hope you don,t mind wearin' khaki.

You pick on a single spelling error in my post, while your posts read like a drunk bogans tirade? You state my case for me! It's true but you can't see it because you are part of the problem. I welcome the police state, currency controls, restriction of all weapons. Our society needs to be protected from itself. Protected from the radical actions of toddlers on the rampage.
Most people have given up most of their freedoms anyway so what does the final act matter. The bank and the corporate retail outlets owns the soul of the average Australia now. The population just go to work, consume, and spend their free time on facebook or in the blue light of the television screen watching football, reality TV and cooking shows. The image that comes to mind is of cattle in a lot feed yard, slowly shuffling toward the slaughter house.
well, if that,s the society ya wanna live in bud, have at it. sounds like nihilism to me, which is a fancy word for spineless apathy.

If I thought Australia was on the verge of becoming Nazi Germany, I would piss off — and with some speed. These whingers won't piss off — because they don't believe their own words. They are liars and hypocrites.

But they aren't here to have their minds changed and they don't believe there is anything they can do. They won't listen to any other view other than "it's all over the end is neigh".
So if they truly believe their own bullshit, yes they should piss off to another country and give up the moaning. It's boring, just like the way you went down the slovenly path of calling something "unaustralian".
Australian Property Forum is an economics and finance forum dedicated to discussion of Australian and global real estate markets and macroeconomics, including house prices, housing affordability, and the likelihood of a property crash.
