This is one of many reasons why I'm getting rather fed up with the country I was born in and am a citizen of. This unwarranted intrusion into our lives by the 3 levels of government, backed up with utterly brutal punishments and an ever more powerful police force. It's really starting to intrude on virtually every aspect of life.
Couldn't agree more. Why should the council even fucking care how the people who live in a house pay for the roof over their heads?
What it has caused in Brisbane is a whole slew of really scummy illegal boarding houses that cost a lot and are exploiting people, because accommodation is effectively a controlled substance.
BTW the new town plans going into effect across Queensland are somewhat of a step away from regulation so on balance are probably a good thing.

There are many reasons, it is just you are not in the industry and have no experience, it would take a very long time to explain it to you.
But in a simple form why don't you cook in your bathroom, park your car in your bedroom and shit in your kitchen, then store your rubbish in your dining room and eat diner in your front garden.
Then rent your laundry out for someone to rebuild gear boxes.
Store explosives in your ceiling??
After all you "could" do it.
Peter
Other than storing explosives in the ceiling, I wouldn't have a problem with that.....

Your point of view is fine as long as everyone around you does not do something that annoys you or one of your family members.
You should move to the Philippines.
As you say your stupidity finishes where my intelligence starts.

Some people are very easily annoyed. Wowsers are everywhere.
There is no innate right not to be annoyed.
On the other hand, there are things that are expected i.e. noise levels, not leaving trash on the footpath, bad smells, etc etc. But they all apply to "normal" households as well. Nothing to do with whether the people in the next-door house are related to each other or not.
The truth will set you free. But first, it will piss you off. --Gloria Steinem AREPS™
Australian Property Forum is an economics and finance forum dedicated to discussion of Australian and global real estate markets and macroeconomics, including house prices, housing affordability, and the likelihood of a property crash. Is there an Australian housing bubble? Will house prices crash, boom or stagnate? Is the Australian property market a pyramid scheme or Ponzi scheme? Can house prices really rise forever? These are the questions we address on Australian Property Forum, the premier real estate site for property bears, bulls, investors, and speculators. Members may also discuss matters related to finance, modern monetary theory (MMT), debt deflation, cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin Ethereum and Ripple, property investing, landlords, tenants, debt consolidation, reverse home equity loans, the housing shortage, negative gearing, capital gains tax, land tax and macro prudential regulation.
