I thought Id ask about what you really realy want?
I got my farm, my house, need to spend more on fencing, dams, power station, a dozer etc, maybe even my own repeater station (dont tell telstra lol) but when it is all done in 2.5years to 3 years, Im going to get an Aeriane Swift.
About $40k US, 11m wing span, 60kg wieght, +8, -6 g aerobat capability and around 26:1 glide ratio.
To have fewer tax'n'spend hypocritical do-gooders in Australian public life...
Cutting lots of things except I note- state aid to Churches, and discretionary and exclusionist programs such as private schools and private health (again....churches).
But after you achieve your commendable goal Sober, worked your arse off, aquired your accommodation etc, anything tickle your fancy ?
WHAT WOULD EDDIE DO? MAAAATE! Share a cot with Milton?
Have you paraglided or hang glided before Golly? I don't have any specific toy in mind for the future myself, I'm a little conservative I guess. If I had to put forward a choice though it would be a seedoo or something similar. Not as free as the sky but better than the road. The idea of plying the northern rivers without a care or a plan appeals to me.

I'd enjoy a trip into space, preferably somewhat beyond Branson's current vision of a few near-Earth orbits.
More prosaically, I'd like to travel to some of the remoter bits of the planet (e.g. Nepal, Galapagos, Reunion, the Amazon), taking my younger daughter in tow.
I've always wanted a BMW Z3. I could go out and buy one right now, they're not very expensive. But it's just not practical, and I don't think I'd use it. I think it will be a retirement present.
Whenever you have an argument with someone, there comes a moment where you must ask yourself, whatever your political persuasion, 'am I the Nazi?'

When I was young with nice discretionary spending power did 30 parachute jumps, all on squares.
Done a bit of flying, went solo at 7 hours.
Did two flights in a glider. That was sublime.
Then had to give it all up as discretionary spending disappeared.

They're a spunky looking car, but have you driven one?
My mate bought one years ago and we were both disappointed - it just didn't feel exciting in any way or form.
If you are a taller person you might find them downright uncomfortable.

I used to hang glide in the early 90's until I came a cropper and was knocked out cold in the Swan River in Mounts Bay.
I had been in the air for about 15 minutes and a heavy and choppy sea breeze had started to kick in so I decided to land. I was coming in nice and parallel to the beach about 20m out and 30m up when I got hit by a tail gust that flipped me over and landed me upside down, knocking me out in the process (at least that is how I remember it).
Never been up again since.
So the thing that I really want is world peace.
But good luck anyway.
Matthew, 30 Jan 2016, 09:21 AM Your simplistic view is so flawed it is not worth debating. The current oversupply will be swallowed in 12 months. By the time dumb shits like you realise this prices will already be rising.

Any flying these days limited to x-plane lol.
edit- 1 round chute ride after malfunction.
Your timing mentioning X-Plane is great - Do you fly on VATSIM? Milk Run Monday starts in precisely 90 minutes from now, however tonight it's "Cascade and Boags Run Monday" between Melbourne and Launceston.
I have about 8 months left to run with the mortgage (at age 31) and in a few years I'd like to go halves, thirds or quarters in a syndicate that owns something like a Diamond DA-40.
