I don't know one Brit with savings back in the UK who hasn't been waiting and waiting to bring their money across after the exchange rate "normalises" and that includes Hoofa - Lol.
Still spruiking house prices Peter.

Too bad that Brisbane market is the sad excuse it always was as an investment.

When are you going to wake up and really learn how to invest your money and build your wealth Peter, not just pretend too like these Barron and silver clowns speaking shit and hoping for a miracle.

Keep telling yourself that.
I will, and everyone else, because it is obviously true. Can you dispute any of the points made related to the data? It's an obvious fact to anyone that has lived/spent a lot of time in both cities, that housing *always* has been way more expensive in London compared to Sydney.

People in London don't earn UK average wages to start with.
Neither do people in Sydney earn average Australian wages...... :re: What's your point?

For Aussie property bears, "denial", is not just a long river in North Africa.....

Its a shame that I got barred from the pommy property blog as the bears there are still denying what is happening in front of their noses. I just had a peek in there and there is a red hot thread about London property crashing. Strange species these bears.

Oh I see, yes they are excited.

In a way I don't blame them, the prices in London are scandalous and the houses are generally small and crappy with rising damp and horrid winters thrown in to boot. Summer only lasts 5 days.

I think that we should send our convicts there for punishment.

Still in shorts and t shirts Peter. It's been a long Indian summer, but alas the days are getting shorter. You may be in for a scorcher this year, as it often follows. Stock up on sun cream and buy a hat.
Whenever you have an argument with someone, there comes a moment where you must ask yourself, whatever your political persuasion, 'am I the Nazi?'

Mate do you guys still wear socks with your sandals?

You might be wearing a T-shirt at the moment but you won't be by November, so enjoy it while you can.
Yep I know, the weather in the UK is not that bad, as far as countries with crap weather go.

I always threaten my wife with moving to Anchorage Alaska when I get pissed off. The weather in Alaska is really bad but there is a great view of the Aurora, so that's something.

just don’t have the income to continue buying houses at prices that are nearly 11 times their salaries

I'm sure there are English real estate sites where the resident "bulls" explain that its actually a much more reasonable multiple of median salary, if you use household income and calculate median income in the right way, and there's still plenty of room for growth.

To some Bulls a glass with only a puddle of piss in it is an opportunity to fill it again.

Australian Property Forum is an economics and finance forum dedicated to discussion of Australian and global real estate markets and macroeconomics, including house prices, housing affordability, and the likelihood of a property crash. Is there an Australian housing bubble? Will house prices crash, boom or stagnate? Is the Australian property market a pyramid scheme or Ponzi scheme? Can house prices really rise forever? These are the questions we address on Australian Property Forum, the premier real estate site for property bears, bulls, investors, and speculators. Members may also discuss matters related to finance, modern monetary theory (MMT), debt deflation, cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin Ethereum and Ripple, property investing, landlords, tenants, debt consolidation, reverse home equity loans, the housing shortage, negative gearing, capital gains tax, land tax and macro prudential regulation.

Forum Rules: The main forum may be used to discuss property, politics, economics and finance, precious metals, crypto currency, debt management, generational divides, climate change, sustainability, alternative energy, environmental topics, human rights or social justice issues, and other topics on a case by case basis. Topics unsuitable for the main forum may be discussed in the lounge. No spamming or advertising in the main forum. Spamming includes repeating the same message over and over again within a short period of time. Don't post ALL CAPS thread titles. The Advertising and Promotion Subforum may be used to promote your Australian property related business or service. Active members of the forum who contribute regularly to main forum discussions may also include a link to their product or service in their signature block.
