If business is not doing well for Jo Woodward he can always come to sydney. I believe the brothel business is thriving in sydney. Just like the massage business.

Yes, well I'm sure there's at least something to be dug up demonstrating that today is just another day in a boom that will unquestionably stretch throught infinity.

I could have suggested the Kouk but he doesn't seem to know which way he's pointing these days.
Nice that you guys are so obsessed with me.

Mining towns do what mining towns do. However, I wouldn't be writing off Karratha and Port Hedland as future ghost towns just yet.

Perth is not a mining town it is the capital city of the largest and richest State in the country. You guys are left bitchin about the heat cooling in some small mining towns, you were dumbstruck with all my graphs on Perth hey?

Lots of good news for Perth again today iinet had another bumper year, some Chinese millionaire is gonna put $100m into South Perth and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry WA is predicting that the WA economy will double in 20 years (that is 3.5 % annual growth).

So much for the fantasy bear recession and their "its all gonna go to shit" chicken littling.

Does it not make you feel a bit embarrassed about all that crash nonsense you guys were jumping up and down about a few weeks ago?

Definition of a doom and gloomer from 1993
The last camp is made up of the doom-and-gloomers. Their slogan is "it's the end of the world as we know it". Right now they are convinced that debt is the evil responsible for all our economic woes and must be eliminated at all cost. Many doom-and-gloomers believe that unprecedented debt levels mean that we are on the precipice of a worse crisis than the Great Depression. The doom-and-gloomers hang on the latest series of negative economic data.

The brothel... Shit me that is grim.
Are you still thinking of buying, or are you planning on sitting it out for a bit longer. I see no harm in that, but I guess it depends on your circumstances. Friends daughter has had her place near busselton on for a year now. She can't understand she needs to reduce the price drastically.

So the chamber of Commerce looks into its crystal ball 20 years into the future and you cite that as evidence and that the bears have it all wrong? :lol

Tell me Mr leverage, what were they saying 7 years ago about how the economy in WA would be like today? It's their job to spruke up business and have a positive outlook. It's their vested interest you moron.

You property speculators are so desperate to believe good news I'm sure that if I shit on a plate and set it on a table you would convince yourself it was casserole and woof it all down.

Lets be very clear here, Perth, Western Australia will grow and develop for ever.
But as a wise man once said if you go without oxygen for 10 minutes any time in your life it's over for you.
So

The choices available to the government are only limited by their imagination and their subscription to a defunct economic ideology that has run its course.

If they removed the barriers to genuine economic activity and reduced the structural rent seeking, the economy would bloom.

The dollar is being propped up by the sale of assets, non renewable resources and claims on future income at a record rate. Limit that and the dollar will start to soften and the hollowing out process will slow then reverse.

Restoring a sustainable model of capital formation will start the process of rebalancing the economy aware from reckless unsustainable lotus munching.

Remove the obstacles to a flexible and responsive land and housing market and low cost land will become an advantage.

Actively drive competition in as many markets as possibly.

3 simple things that would drive real sustainable economic activity.

Oz has enormous opportunities providing we stop living off our inheritance.

Australian Property Forum is an economics and finance forum dedicated to discussion of Australian and global real estate markets and macroeconomics, including house prices, housing affordability, and the likelihood of a property crash. Is there an Australian housing bubble? Will house prices crash, boom or stagnate? Is the Australian property market a pyramid scheme or Ponzi scheme? Can house prices really rise forever? These are the questions we address on Australian Property Forum, the premier real estate site for property bears, bulls, investors, and speculators. Members may also discuss matters related to finance, modern monetary theory (MMT), debt deflation, cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin Ethereum and Ripple, property investing, landlords, tenants, debt consolidation, reverse home equity loans, the housing shortage, negative gearing, capital gains tax, land tax and macro prudential regulation.
