Design and wording for Placards are now completed. Thanks to those people who made wording suggestions. They were very useful. There are 12 documents available with the Negative Gearing and Housing Affordability theme. These are available to download now in PDF form by clicking on the links below. Documents are A4 size. You can copy them on to a disk or USB stick, take it to Officeworks where they can print them out to any size. I would suggest A2 size. A1 would be even better but the printing on the blow up would be faded a bit, although this could be darkened up with a black marker pen . You can then stick or tape them on to a stiff backing / placard. For anyone who is not able to make their own placard, we can supply them. Just contact us by email below. You could also print up lots of A4 copies and distribute them as flyers.
Definition of a doom and gloomer from 1993 The last camp is made up of the doom-and-gloomers. Their slogan is "it's the end of the world as we know it". Right now they are convinced that debt is the evil responsible for all our economic woes and must be eliminated at all cost. Many doom-and-gloomers believe that unprecedented debt levels mean that we are on the precipice of a worse crisis than the Great Depression. The doom-and-gloomers hang on the latest series of negative economic data.

I would also suggest a pre-Rally meeting point and then a march, just for your benefit really. It would be incredibly embarrassing for you to be standing there holding one if your signs on your pat Malone. I will be there loitering as a random city dweller, if you are the only one your photo is going up in you very own dedicated post as a 'how not to' educational tool.
I think the placards really highlight how little you know about the complexity if the issue, for fuck sake you haven't event acknowledged the biggest and must significant component and that's the banks. Irrelevant though, you are having a crack and I wish you the best.
Why do you efties think Negative Gearing is some sort of "Hack" you still have to pay off the damn think if you wanna own it. What about the rorters doing "positive gearing" shock horror they are gaining while others pay rent. Get real and keep asking for hand outs and bottom feeding plankton. Negative gearing is the new SCAPEGOAT for the current gen to blame instead of working hard. Instead they sit on benefits like DSP and youth allowance
