You replied to a question on Karratha claiming it was a leading indicator.

You are wrong on rentals too - it is just as likely that rental vacancies will drop in Perth if people stop buying.

One of the reasons that property is such a good long term investment is that rents rise during downturns as supply dries up and this can make all the difference for coming through the other side of recessions with your investment portfolio intact.

This is why these guys are so worried as they are at the front line when the resources boom finishes. they are fearful of returning to normal working conditions.
Except for the fact that rentals are up on year and on month, and property available to rent is also up?. How do you explain that? The only reason I can see is increased supply.

Timmy's left nut

Well fuck a truck - shows how little I know about the industry. Looks like futures could be dropping into forties this week or next. Falling faster fmg, and that's fast.
So where's the right nut?
Newjerk? can you try harder than dig up another person's blog. My first promo was with Billabong and my name in English is modified with a T, am Perth born but also lived in Sydney to make my $$
It's Absolutely Fabulous if it includes brilliant locations, & high calibre tenants..what more does one want? Understand the power of the two "P"" or be financially challenged
Even better when there is family who are property mad and one is born in some entitlements.....Understand that beautiful women are the exhibitionists we crave attention, whilst hot blooded men are the voyeurs ... A stunning woman can command and takes pleasure in being noticed. Seems not too many understand what it means to hold and own props and get threatened by those who do.
Banks are considered to be law abiding and & rather boring places yeah not true . A bank balance sheet will show capital is dwarfed by their liabilities this means when a portions of loans is falling its problems for the bank.

Skamy, I think both bulls and bears will join me in congratulating you on your valiant defense of Perth.

Custer would have been proud. He even may have shed a tear.

Sadly, Custer got his arse kicked at sitting bull, as will you.

This is your last opportunity to sell. RP index will drop under 6000 by June/July, and then the press will jump on the slump in a feeding frenzy. Iron is dead, mining is suffering, and Perth is about to correct.

It's time for you and your kids to get their houses in order. Do the math. If there's any doubts (bearing in mind interest rates could still rise through all this shit) then for gods sake sell a property now and don't be forced to sell into a fire sale.

Prepare yourself for opportunities, and you may even be able to gain from this slump.

Your defenses are shot. Perth is dead. Pretty soon it will be in the press and common knowledge.

Take precautions now honey.
Whenever you have an argument with someone, there comes a moment where you must ask yourself, whatever your political persuasion, 'am I the Nazi?'

I can't see your figures reflected by REIWA skamy. In fact sales are down on last year and last month.

I notice that REIWA haven't updated the listings info this week? They are still using last weeks numbers with this weeks date.

Can't think why they would do that??
Matthew, 30 Jan 2016, 09:21 AM Your simplistic view is so flawed it is not worth debating. The current oversupply will be swallowed in 12 months. By the time dumb shits like you realise this prices will already be :?: rising.
