Leading indicator to what. Put a number on it or just admit you don't really know.
Falls that already have started.

not 2% as Jimbo was kind enough to tell me. It is 2 index points.

So why did Karratha plummet?
I can't see your figures reflected by REIWA skamy. In fact sales are down on last year and last month.

Care to have a re think about that line of thought.
Whenever you have an argument with someone, there comes a moment where you must ask yourself, whatever your political persuasion, 'am I the Nazi?'

Crisis already here for you. Iron ore futures not looking good. About to drop into the forties, crashing just like we told you it WILL years ago. Nothing whatsoever like the 120 a tonne you said it will be soon. Just tanking along with Perth , whats not tanking there timmy ? Jobs, wages, rents , guess whats next timmy, prices, looks like january 2015 was the breaking point for Perth..Interest rates cant keep up with the carage. Just like that crazy fool told you years ago, it will be all too little too late, Peter can tell you, right Peter.

Just like the thread says, the Perth property crash thread. Let us enjoy young people buying more afforable homes as they continue to tank in rent and also in price.

You though that wont happen, just like iron ore. Wrong again Timmy.

Well fuck a truck - shows how little I know about the industry. Looks like futures could be dropping into forties this week or next. Falling faster fmg, and that's fast.

A post adressed to timmy and who should answer it? dolie of course. Between your bets on iron ore (ha ha) and your dogbox in perth it must feel like your sitting on the bottom of the abyssal plain.

Where did I say that?

A spike in rental vacancy is a leading indicator of price falls.

Any argument? Didn't think so.
You replied to a question on Karratha claiming it was a leading indicator.

You are wrong on rentals too - it is just as likely that rental vacancies will drop in Perth if people stop buying.

One of the reasons that property is such a good long term investment is that rents rise during downturns as supply dries up and this can make all the difference for coming through the other side of recessions with your investment portfolio intact.

This is why these guys are so worried as they are at the front line when the resources boom finishes. they are fearful of returning to normal working conditions.

Definition of a doom and gloomer from 1993
The last camp is made up of the doom-and-gloomers. Their slogan is "it's the end of the world as we know it". Right now they are convinced that debt is the evil responsible for all our economic woes and must be eliminated at all cost. Many doom-and-gloomers believe that unprecedented debt levels mean that we are on the precipice of a worse crisis than the Great Depression. The doom-and-gloomers hang on the latest series of negative economic data.
