Wrong. The mining industry created 1000's of jobs in 2013.

You have no evidence.

So why did Karratha plummet?

Definition of a doom and gloomer from 1993
The last camp is made up of the doom-and-gloomers. Their slogan is "it's the end of the world as we know it". Right now they are convinced that debt is the evil responsible for all our economic woes and must be eliminated at all cost. Many doom-and-gloomers believe that unprecedented debt levels mean that we are on the precipice of a worse crisis than the Great Depression. The doom-and-gloomers hang on the latest series of negative economic data.

Perhaps because anyone with half a brain was heading for the exit as they saw rental vacancies spike. FYI Karratha plummeted in 2014.

Sound familiar? Hang on Perth is have a rental vacancy spike right now.

Louis warned us about Karratha now he is warning us about Perth.

So if the Karratha market is a leading indicator for Perth how come Perth did not get Karatha's boom. Prices jumped from a median of $600K to a median of $900K whereas poor old Perth has been as flat as a pancake since 2007

Where did I say that?

A spike in rental vacancy is a leading indicator of price falls.

Any argument? Didn't think so.

This bit made me laugh...

"He said the current setup created an imbalance in the market and unfairly skewed first home buyers towards new builds."

Wasn't that the point?

Leading indicator to what. Put a number on it or just admit you don't really know.
