Oh Ted you are the biggest drama queen on the site - always predicting doom and gloom just around the corner. Never happy when there is loads of doom and gloom.
You were sold a lemon Ted get over it, there ain't no recession coming to Australia any time soon. How old are you 12?
Do you seriously think you are going rally anyone to your extremist right wing red necked agenda?
People are too busy watching their asset prices rise, to be interested in your hate and your bleak dark world that you want for everyone.
The recession is here skamy. See just like I said, the delusion never stops with you.
Does record low interest rates not seen since the great depression not say anything to you at all stinky ?
Are you just trolling here or what stinky ?
Here are skamy , see what this guy knew in 1847. He died in 1883.
His idea on communism was a raging success too wasn't it Ted.
You sure know how to pick a loser. It's a gift.
He was smart enough to see the end result at a time when multinational companies and monopolies like Coles and woolies where not even dreamt of.
The other sad fact is here is you, who again puts down some of the great minds of the world.
A megere ex truck driving mortgage broker thinks he knows better, thinks he knows better than some of the planets greatest thinkers and minds. You attacked marx here, peter Schiff many times , a world renowned economist who recently spoke in Sydney against your agenda and also Chris hedges, one of smartest men on the planet.
And your last one one Peter, just another attack on me. Firstly, its interesting to see what you have to resort to know Peter. And speaking of picking losers, who was the clown who used what little euity was in their home, to leverage up 100% on more than one brisbane office space. A market that is now seeing vacancu rates of over 20% and rising, with rents dropping, talk about picking a loser.
Just one stock I purchased in the morning yesytrday was sold a few hours later with over 8k profit, was closer to 8.5k. Just on this one stock alone, I have cleared about 48k in profit in july alone. I have plenty of others too, but that was my best performance of the month by far on one stock alone. I'm sure many of you could not comprehend or even believe that, but that's what happens to dopes who have ll of their money tied to a housing ponzi that they never have anything Left over to invest with and take opportunities that arise EVERY SINGLE DAY.
Peter the fact is you don't know how to invest, you only think you do, as is the case with most of you here.
I will have my IP paid off by october, and will be throwing some cash at some real estate somewhere. I went to look at an industrial property for sale on Saturday, they are asking seven figures but the return was not that good but the Tennant has been there for a long time, almost two decades, so the rent might be underpriced. But guess what, the useless agent does not even show up, about four or five groups through the property , with the Tennant telling us to look around and that the agent could not make it because he had to attend an auction. I spoke to the wenker on Thursday , tells me he will be there Saturday morning. Are real estate agents the most overpaid useless pericks around. They open a fuckin door once or twice a week for a half hour each time for a couple of weeks and charge people fractions of the value of their home for doing so. Wenkers.
I do think that the RBA & Treasury have had to swallow the fact that mining has been doing the best it can.
Just remember, housing has remained relatively immune in the global pain of other a$$ets.
Newjerk? can you try harder than dig up another person's blog. My first promo was with Billabong and my name in English is modified with a T, am Perth born but also lived in Sydney to make my $$ It's Absolutely Fabulous if it includes brilliant locations, & high calibre tenants..what more does one want? Understand the power of the two "P"" or be financially challenged Even better when there is family who are property mad and one is born in some entitlements.....Understand that beautiful women are the exhibitionists we crave attention, whilst hot blooded men are the voyeurs ... A stunning woman can command and takes pleasure in being noticed. Seems not too many understand what it means to hold and own props and get threatened by those who do. Banks are considered to be law abiding and & rather boring places yeah not true . A bank balance sheet will show capital is dwarfed by their liabilities this means when a portions of loans is falling its problems for the bank.
There are some people who seem angry and continuously look for conflict. Walk away, the battle they are fighting isn't with you, it's with themselves.
The first lesson of economics is scarcity: There is not enough of anything to satisfy all who want it. The first lesson of politics is to disregard the first lesson of economics. ~ Thomas Sowell.
Who was the fool, who the wise man, who the beggar or the Emperor? Whether rich or poor, all are equal in death.
I wish there was some way I could get an email notification when you (and certain others) post here. Love your work.
I wish there was a way I could better articulate my points of view and join in the debates/arguments of different topics. I share common views with some forum contributors but yet hold different views on other topics with those same contributors.

You'll be OK.

Worth noting that building approvals are still UP +16% over the past year. There are often "blips" in these figures - need several down months in a row before calling a change to the trend though.
PS: There is construction everywhere in Sydney at the moment.
For Aussie property bears, "denial", is not just a long river in North Africa.....
The politico-housing-banking-population Ponzi today in Australia and the attitudes surrounding it remind me of my long stay in Spain in 2006. Everything was just the same, the only diff was they didn’t have a China GFC construction stimulus fuelled mining boom and down they went. From what I read, all the characteristics of the politico-housing-banking-population Ponzi crowding out the real economy was also evident in Ireland. We could have used the Chinese GFC stimulus boosted mining boom to get out of jail, but like chronic gamblers, we thought our luck was a sign of our genius and doubled our bets!
Basically, our criminal class, the parliamentarians, and I make no apologies for using that expression, I REALLY FUCKING MEAN IT, have sold Australia out for their own interests. Look at the dills we have in charge – they are nothing more than faithful minions of the big end of town, giving the corporates (local and foreign), banksters, land specufesters and foreign kleptocrats a free ride at the expense of the real economy and the basic, fundamental needs of Australians. Now they want to plunder health, education and pensions to feed their FIRE sector leech since there is nothing else left to plunder.
Australian Property Forum is an economics and finance forum dedicated to discussion of Australian and global real estate markets and macroeconomics, including house prices, housing affordability, and the likelihood of a property crash. These are the questions we address on Australian Property Forum, the premier real estate site for property bears, bulls, investors, and speculators. Members may also discuss matters related to finance, modern monetary theory (MMT), debt deflation, cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin Ethereum and Ripple, property investing, landlords, tenants, debt consolidation, reverse home equity loans, the housing shortage, negative gearing, capital gains tax, land tax and macro prudential regulation.
