How will include increasing supply correct a demand side problem? What red tape is she talking about anyway? Safety?

That and pesky things like wages and working conditions I imagine.

I also hear a lot of anecdotal evidence that the bride of Jabba the Hutt is drilling exploration holes all over my beloved gemfields. The biggest and richest gem sapphire deposit in the southern hemisphere and Gina is apparently hoping there is coal underneath so she can rip the place up. Bitch!

I'm not a geologist but I wouldn't have thought there would be any coal directly beneath the gemfields. There are vast quantities all around to the north, south, east and west but the field itself is a major volcanic province, with about 75 extinct volcanic plugs in a swath about 10-15 km wide. Dig down through the sapphire-bearing wash anywhere on the field and sooner or later you hit solid rock, a great mass of solidified magma that I'm sure extends right down into the earth. Dunno what the chances of finding coal there would be. Anyway, I don't want her there regardless.

Things are turning to shit here in the west.
Lower interest rates?
Man you cannot make this stuff up.
Iron whore is at $81.90 per ton.
I went for a massage yesterday, 6 sweet babes ready to pounce.
The supply of massage girls is out stripping demand.
I am doing all I can but I am only one man.

Are you using Viagra and taking zinc? It must be a heavy weight on your shoulders supporting the whole massage industry, now the miners have left. (Not to mention other parts of your anatomy)

Looks like it may bounce off 80, so there may be the odd miner left to share the load.

That's gotta hurt:

The WA government had expected iron ore prices to average $US122.70 this financial year, and will lose $49 million for every $US1 decrease in the average price below that target.

Australian Property Forum is an economics and finance forum dedicated to discussion of Australian and global real estate markets and macroeconomics, including house prices, housing affordability, and the likelihood of a property crash. Is there an Australian housing bubble? Will house prices crash, boom or stagnate? Is the Australian property market a pyramid scheme or Ponzi scheme? Can house prices really rise forever? These are the questions we address on Australian Property Forum, the premier real estate site for property bears, bulls, investors, and speculators. Members may also discuss matters related to finance, modern monetary theory (MMT), debt deflation, cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin Ethereum and Ripple, property investing, landlords, tenants, debt consolidation, reverse home equity loans, the housing shortage, negative gearing, capital gains tax, land tax and macro prudential regulation.

Forum Rules: The main forum may be used to discuss property, politics, economics and finance, precious metals, crypto currency, debt management, generational divides, climate change, sustainability, alternative energy, environmental topics, human rights or social justice issues, and other topics on a case by case basis. Topics unsuitable for the main forum may be discussed in the lounge.
