Catweasel say many things the mouse cannot see,

let alone a iron the ore price.

So all a number in a range of commodity the price,

is base on a feelings,

not a sensory receptor as channel to mind,

where it can know a prices of a iron the ore.

Only the thing guiding a mouse in a 2014,

is palatable the narrative,

where in a fact,

great the exciting shrouded in a anti-narrative.

By a time it reveal itself to mouse,

usually the too late.
Actually that is complete bullshit Catweasel. I'm not an analyst in the iron ore industry, but even I could draw up a chart with volumes against costs, and project that against expected world consumption. There are variables such as how far certain countries are willing to go to sustain their own mining industries, and also how the material is used for collateral, and how much steel is dumped and so forth and so on. But if I had the time I could come up with a reasonable figure. I'm sure the industry could do much better, and I'm surprised that they don't. But to stick my finger up in the air, 100 dollars a tonne sounds about right for now. 90 - 110 if you want a range. If you have a good professional analysis that works through the scenarios, then please share as I haven't seen one.

Ah, it seems, I've been corrected, it must be an asian thing, food delivery, hopefully some of our imports long for it and demand it of our local businesses.
A friend of mine from Canada says you can get KFC delivered over there. What a wonderful age we live in!

If you'd read any of his riddles deeply enough you'd have realised that he long ago had a glorious epiphany on the subject of economics, and subsequently has shunned a life of punditry in favour of the heart stopping thrill of random and chaotic outcomes.

Either that or he smokes a lot of DMT. :lol
"It were not best that we should all think alike; it is difference of opinion that makes horse races." - Mark Twain on why he avoids discussing house prices over at MacroBusiness.
"Buy land, they're not making any more of it." - Georgist Land Tax proponent Mark Twain laughing in his grave at humourless idiots like skamy that continually use this quip to justify housing bubbles.

He did make a bit of sense once, but now he seems lost. But aren't we all one way or another.

While it's true that those who win never quit, and those who quit never win, those who never win and never quit are idiots.

Australian Property Forum is an economics and finance forum dedicated to discussion of Australian and global real estate markets and macroeconomics, including house prices, housing affordability, and the likelihood of a property crash. Is there an Australian housing bubble? Will house prices crash, boom or stagnate? Is the Australian property market a pyramid scheme or Ponzi scheme? Can house prices really rise forever? These are the questions we address on Australian Property Forum, the premier real estate site for property bears, bulls, investors, and speculators. Members may also discuss matters related to finance, modern monetary theory (MMT), debt deflation, cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin Ethereum and Ripple, property investing, landlords, tenants, debt consolidation, reverse home equity loans, the housing shortage, negative gearing, capital gains tax, land tax and macro prudential regulation.

Forum Rules: The main forum may be used to discuss property, politics, economics and finance, precious metals, crypto currency, debt management, generational divides, climate change, sustainability, alternative energy, environmental topics, human rights or social justice issues, and other topics on a case by case basis. Topics unsuitable for the main forum may be discussed in the lounge.
