Scary stuff.
Meanwhile my SOR FIFO territory vacancy rate watch has just ticked up to a 17.28% increase in available rentals since July 12th.

Up 17.28% in just six short weeks.

Matthew, 30 Jan 2016, 09:21 AM Your simplistic view is so flawed it is not worth debating. The current oversupply will be swallowed in 12 months. By the time dumb shits like you realise this prices will already be :?: rising.

Timmy's 5000 + posts where all in vain, (likely a PR hired firm)!

2 lines here and there (a lot 9-5) most likely posting on multiple political subjects across multiple forums.

It was very clear that Timmy the troll didn't work in mining (pointed out numerous times).

The ignorance of ghost cities/artificial demand slowing blah blah was too funny, I have to say @ the end it was a good laugh watching a cornered troll!

As goldbug says Timmy the troll just kept on a kept on a yappin regardless.
I would say he is still here posting.

...as who?

Most of the bulls who've arrived here recently are mind numbing idiots.

At least Timmy had a sense of humor.
"It were not best that we should all think alike; it is difference of opinion that makes horse races." - Mark Twain on why he avoids discussing house prices over at MacroBusiness.
"Buy land, they're not making any more of it." - Georgist Land Tax proponent Mark Twain laughing in his grave at humourless idiots like skamy that continually use this quip to justify housing bubbles.

Iron ore futures took another hammering last night.Looks like its all over for iron ore prices now, who knows how low they could go.

As for Timmy, I don't know if he posts anymore, he does not even use his sock anymore.

He lost his mining contract postion and has fallen on hard times, he now also realises that things are not as rosy as he thought they would be. He was paying off a recent purchase ppor and also at least one ip, bothbin WA somewhere, both probably in one of these falling mining towns dropping in price and rent. His ip was a bit out in the sticks somewhere, hopefully he only had the one ip.

I would say he probably does not even look at the forum anymore, thinking about what he has said and what has been said to him.

Good luck Timmy.

Another reason why I'm a bit skeptical of this smooth baton change in WA - it's pointless having the government give with one hand if it takes away with the other.
Wrong takes away with 2 hands.

Good luck guys.

See you on the other side.

The money from the iron ore is like irrigation to a beautiful garden in the desert, reduce the water???

I think even the greatest fool on this forum knows what that means.

Peter

Again the very best of luck, we are heading to the dark side of the moon.

"At the current spot price, Atlas is just cash flow positive and is therefore gearing up. A more focused cost-cutting program is under way but cost out is limited in our view," he said. Deutsche has modelled all-in cash costs of $71 a tonne, against a current realised price of $75 a tonne.

This is fundamental, the house prices went up because of all the spare cash sloshing around Perth, so the monkeys bought bigger enclosures and fancier bananas.
Now your property is in danger of being revalued to meet or shall i say fit the new paradigm. Perhaps conform to the new paradigm.

Get with the program.

Peter

A whole world of pain.

Good to see there are people in Perth that understand supply and demand.

Supply increasing, demand decreasing, simultaneously!

Timmy seems to have disappeared, I actually didn't mind him, but a bit soft to disappear just as his calls go bad. Skamy has toned it down a bit. Mike is still going strong though. Perth will be the capital hit the hardest by the iron ore pain, and I think it will be a bit nasty.

Australian Property Forum is an economics and finance forum dedicated to discussion of Australian and global real estate markets and macroeconomics, including house prices, housing affordability, and the likelihood of a property crash. Is there an Australian housing bubble? Will house prices crash, boom or stagnate? Is the Australian property market a pyramid scheme or Ponzi scheme? Can house prices really rise forever? These are the questions we address on Australian Property Forum, the premier real estate site for property bears, bulls, investors, and speculators. Members may also discuss matters related to finance, modern monetary theory (MMT), debt deflation, cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin Ethereum and Ripple, property investing, landlords, tenants, debt consolidation, reverse home equity loans, the housing shortage, negative gearing, capital gains tax, land tax and macro prudential regulation.

Forum Rules: The main forum may be used to discuss property, politics, economics and finance, precious metals, crypto currency, debt management, generational divides, climate change, sustainability, alternative energy, environmental topics, human rights or social justice issues, and other topics on a case by case basis.
