A 1.5 billion dollar expansion by coles will create around 8000 jobs but this 170 billion dollar fall will result in more jobs.

To put that into context, the North West Rail Link in Sydney is approximately 37km of new railway line, which includes a 16km long metro tunnel and is considered to be the most expensive civil infrastructure project in Australia currently under construction. It is estimated to cost $10 Billion.

Need I say more.

The mining capex boom created an esitmated 50,000 Jobs (BREE 2010). Those were some of the best paid workers in Australia.

Need I say more.

This is why we are seeing sub industries cut staff levels by up to 50%.

These are highly paid highly skilled.

A move from metallurgical and geochemistry to flippin burgers perhaps.

That will move the dole buggers to and from the dole office faster.

It would be cheaper to hand deliver the dole checks by R.R. limos.

People still use cheques? I thought almost everything was done electronically now. Even the ATO prefer electronic, they only send a cheque if it's requested, or the EFT fails.

You should look at the other thread before you misrepresent the truth, yet again.

I have looked at it.
Thank you.
But as people say, the property is far from "green" and it is if you are correct near the coast.
I still say scam alert.

As i say the "high Priests" know this is going to happen naturally, and they profit from the ignorant by "predicting" the out come.

Al Gore had to buy the $9 million house to prove he is smarter than you dumb monkeys.

If the ice melts the calculation is for a 86 meter rise in sea levels, that would place Mr. Gore 31 meters under water??

Truly a man that sells snake oil but fails to buy it. No??

He did not donate the money to stop the "man made" global warming. He could have.

He spent the cash on the fancy, far from green house with ocean views. .

A bit like a modern day priest fucking the alter boy out the back, but preaching restraint at the pulpit to the alter boys mom and dad.

Come on Kluganis your not a fool, stop acting like one.

Please use your brain.

You can be a big boy now.

A single scrap of truth no matter how small, how damaged and mistreated is worth all the fancy lies on earth.

Join the side of truth Kluganis.
It is a lonely road Kluganis, is that what you are afraid of????
That the other kids will point you out and ridicule you for being different??

Just think of Noah.
He saved the animals but could not save the people.
The line in this life is so fine it can hardly be detected.

Australian Property Forum is an economics and finance forum dedicated to discussion of Australian and global real estate markets and macroeconomics, including house prices, housing affordability, and the likelihood of a property crash. Is there an Australian housing bubble? Will house prices crash, boom or stagnate? Is the Australian property market a pyramid scheme or Ponzi scheme? Can house prices really rise forever? These are the questions we address on Australian Property Forum, the premier real estate site for property bears, bulls, investors, and speculators. Members may also discuss matters related to finance, modern monetary theory (MMT), debt deflation, cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin Ethereum and Ripple, property investing, landlords, tenants, debt consolidation, reverse home equity loans, the housing shortage, negative gearing, capital gains tax, land tax and macro prudential regulation.

Forum Rules: The main forum may be used to discuss property, politics, economics and finance, precious metals, crypto currency, debt management, generational divides, climate change, sustainability, alternative energy, environmental topics, human rights or social justice issues, and other topics on a case by case basis.
