Funny how when the data was going in the right direction, the surface temperature was a VERY accurate measure of man-made global warming, but somehow now with no warming for nearly 18yrs, apparently scientists have been looking at the WRONG data to the whole time. These "climate change deniers!!!" Have they not read the 2013 IPCC reports starting rising temperatures with 95% confidence. Any one with half a brain can tell you the climate models the alarmists always refer to are completely fu##ed!!
I love the way they casually change their mind. "The science is settled you damn denying flat-earths", but "OOPS", we have been looking at the wrong data for 18yrs, and the data we have been looking at is "the worst indicator of global climate that can be used, describing it as "lousy"
IT'S THE SUN!!! YOU MAN-MADE GLOBAL WARMING HALF-WITS, and soon the scientists will see a GLOBAL COOLING period from 2020's due to weakening solar activity, and again say, OOPS, the new fancy models we developed are FU##ed as well.
Quote:
A widely reported "pause" in global warming may be an artefact of scientists looking at the wrong data, says a climate scientist at the European Space Agency.
Global average sea surface temperatures rose rapidly from the 1970s but have been relatively flat for the past 15 years. This has prompted speculation from some quarters that global warming has stalled.
Now, Stephen Briggs from the European Space Agency's Directorate of Earth Observation says that sea surface temperature data is the worst indicator of global climate that can be used, describing it as "lousy".
Climate Models showing expected surface global warming
Investor88 So will AGW delay the onset of glaciation and if so by how long? Does that mean AGE may actually be a good thing?
"So will AGW delay the onset of glaciation and if so by how long?
AGW, what AGW you halfwit?. Stop listening to your CO2 warming rubbish, ALL the inaccurate climate models effectively prove that their expected link between CO2 and warming is BS. The Earth has been warmer in the past (1deg during the Medieval Warm Period). Normal cycles will continue, including ice-ages and glaciation periods. It's the SUN you fuckwit!!, and when the solar activity weakens again, we'll start to have cooling from the 2020's onward. Read up on solar cycles, in particular Solar Cycle 25 (starting from 2019). Read up on the Suns weakening Magnetic field (Guass) the past 25yr. Read up on weakening Solar Wind Pressure, etc. Read up on previous solar weakening minimums (Dalton mimimum 1790-1830's, Maunder Minimum (1650-1700's). Read up on other planets in the solar system "Global Warming", at the same time as Earth the past century with stronger solar activity. Sunspot Magnetic Fields
Investor888 As a fuckwit and half wit I only asked the question. Let me phrase it another way..... If mankind is heating the planet, do you think this will delay the fall from the Holocene and if so, buy how much? I am fully aware of the suns cycles and quite sure the home planet will be back in its normal state of glaciation after the Holocene ends. My question is when do you think that will occur?
Let me phrase it another way..... If mankind is heating the planet, do you think this will delay the fall from the Holocene and if so, buy how much?
Mankind IS NOT heating the planet. The stronger solar activity over the last century was heating the planet, as it was heating ALL planets in the solar system. Mars had "global warming" of 0.65deg C from the 1970-1990's. Must have been the little green martians burning CO2
Given it's all driven by the sun, the weakening solar activity of Solar Cycle 24 (2007/8 - 2018), with Solar Cycle 24 already been half the sunspot count of the previous solar cycles 22/23, has already lead to the "pause" in "man-made global warming", with no warming for 17.5yrs now. As we head further and further into a global cooling period (especially starting in Solar Cycle 25 2019 onward), the extent of this solar weakening will determine if we fall from the Holocene.
This solar weakening could be as low and long and the Maunder Minimum (Earth's little ice-age period). So by mid this century I expect that if we match the Maunder solar minimums in future solar cycles 26/27/28, then we'll at least have a similar ice-age as back then.
The Russian Solar Scientists are already predicting that this one could be up to 200-250yrs. Similar to the Little Ice Age ( NASA defines the term as a cold period between AD 1550 and 1850 and notes three particularly cold intervals: one beginning about 1650, another about 1770, and the last in 1850, each separated by intervals of slight warming), with the Maunder Minimum the coldest part of the little ice age. And the CO2 man-made global warmists think that evidence of warming since 1850's is due to humans. It warms after a period were it cooled. It's the sun, and nothing to do with humans or CO2. If we do have cooling similar to the Maunder Minimum, and some little ice-age again, then I suppose any period where Earth heads into an ice-age, could snowball, and lead to the next glaciation period (as Earth is over-due for the next glaciation period)
“Evidently, solar activity is on the decrease. The 11-year cycle doesn’t bring about considerable climate change – only 1-2%. The impact of the 200-year cycle is greater – up to 50%. In this respect, we could be in for a cooling period that lasts 200-250 years. The period of low solar activity could start in 2030-2040 but it won’t be as pervasive as in the late 17th century”.
Investor888 Well, I remain a climate agnostic. While I fully acknowledge that CO2 has in the past been a good indicator for global temp, those two have now gone different paths and without any doubt the solar cycles play afar greater role in the home planets temp than does CO2 or mankind.

I'm really looking forward to how Peter Fraser responds to this development. It will either be with something so utterly absurd that it strips any semblance of credibility away from the warmists, or it will be with utter silence. The silence of a man who is in complete denial that his religion is false.
Maybe we should offer the high priests of global warming young virgins as an offering, after all it has worked for every other globe ending problem the human race has faced.
Strange they always have to be young and virgins?????????????????????????????????????
Anyway if it works don't fix it.
You global warmers are such dumb fucks.
Peter
If you had an ounce of confidence in your stance on climate change, you wouldn't be abusive in your posts and you would be articulating your argument in an intelligent manner.
You lost on both aspects I'm afraid.

Look looks like someone spat the dummy. Peter Fraser what is it like to experience such a harsh reality check? I'm genuinely interested.
I mean all the models were based on air temperature. Which now means all the models have been openly admitted to be false. Which means that the whole story now has zero evidence to support it.m please humour me with an admission of your gullibility or some utterly absurd justification for your continued belief in the scam.
Australian Property Forum is an economics and finance forum dedicated to discussion of Australian and global real estate markets and macroeconomics, including house prices, housing affordability, and the likelihood of a property crash. Is there an Australian housing bubble? Will house prices crash, boom or stagnate? Is the Australian property market a pyramid scheme or Ponzi scheme? Can house prices really rise forever?
