It was a technical question for goldbug though. I'd appreciate it if he put on his Frankrider cape and give us the third degree, or at least his theory as to why gold fell in USD in the face of QE and stayed flat in AUD over the past 5 years.
I reckon he shouldn't have a problem answering the question so it might be an idea if other well versed people let him answer on his own (and yes, that means you too Count )

Stop building houses and house speculator say very bullish for house prices. Stop mining gold and house speculator say very bearish for gold prices.
Which only proves one thing. House speculator actually knows squat outside of what house speculator was indocrinated with at seminars and in reading get rich quick books. Business people? I think not.
Catweasel say rapscall is a relatively thin on a ground in a Viet the Nam.
If it compare with a Thailand and the Cambodia,
which a crawling with many of a West's nefarious the rapscallion.
Viet the Nam of course had its scrapes with Gary the Glitter.
but a Frankie the Castle probably a relatively the harmless.
It be a ironic,
that gold is most preferred the store of value in a Viet the Nam,
and many the buy house with a gold,
gold pay the interest,
even a HSBC, AN the Z, and a Standard the Chartered deals with it.

Members may also discuss matters related to finance, modern monetary theory (MMT), debt deflation, cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin Ethereum and Ripple, property investing, landlords, tenants, debt consolidation, reverse home equity loans, the housing shortage, negative gearing, capital gains tax, land tax and macro prudential regulation.
