Oh good you got to meet one of the forum lunatic red necks on your first day. We have a lot of fun with BeN, he is great crack if you wake him up to the fact that this country is settling into its geography and becoming more Asianised. Try it sometime :)
Definition of a doom and gloomer from 1993
The last camp is made up of the doom-and-gloomers. Their slogan is "it's the end of the world as we know it". Right now they are convinced that debt is the evil responsible for all our economic woes and must be eliminated at all cost. Many doom-and-gloomers believe that unprecedented debt levels mean that we are on the precipice of a worse crisis than the Great Depression. The doom-and-gloomers hang on the latest series of negative economic data.

More ignorance and multicultural BS. Australia is a Continent in the Oceania region. Europe shares a F land border with Asia, does that make Europe Asian?

Go back to Ireland, it really needs your nation destroying multicultural ideas to fully F it up beyond repair.

Another F immigrant here on a looting expedition. Let me guess - a pro high immigration, multiculturalist rent seeker who doesn't give a shit about this country. You should go back to France, I hear it's not totally F yet.

Immigration fears spark political firestorm in UK

27 December 2013 /AP, LONDON

They're portrayed as pickpockets who will steal British jobs too. Newspapers and politicians fear a wave of immigrants will come to Britain to beg, the unruly young ones will stir up riots, and some will even try to sell babies.

For months, Britain's tabloids have repeatedly warned of the horrors they believe will ensue after Jan. 1, when work restrictions will be lifted across the European Union for migrants from Romania and Bulgaria -- two of the trading bloc's newest members. Those changes, the papers claim, will surely unleash a mass exodus of the poor and unemployed from the two eastern European countries to Britain.

"In January, the only thing left will be the goat," a Daily Mail headline proclaimed, referring to a remote Romanian village where, the paper claimed, everyone was preparing to move to Britain for the higher wages and generous welfare benefits. "We're importing a crime wave from Romania and Bulgaria," another headline declared, quoting a Conservative lawmaker who told Parliament that most pickpockets on British streets hail from Romania.

The alarming stories about a possible Romanian and Bulgarian influx, and a government scramble to tighten welfare rules, are part of the latest chapter in an increasingly bitter debate about Britain's immigration policies and its uneasy relationship with the EU. Right-wing politicians have won over voters by arguing that foreigners, particularly eastern Europeans, are flooding Britain's job market with cheap labor and exploiting the country's benefits system...

How big exactly is the potential problem?

Romania and Bulgaria joined the EU in 2007 and more than 100,000 migrants from the two countries already work in Britain, albeit under work restrictions that limit their access to jobs and state benefits like health care...

Nobody knows how many Romanians and Bulgarians will actually come to Britain, and the government has refused to provide an official estimate. But many Britons believe that the migrants will choose Britain over other EU members because it is seen to be a generous welfare state.

What else is he wrong about?

Seriously dude you need to lighten up - its Christmas - you know peace and goodwill all around. You will make yourself sick if you try to eat all the turkey yourself.

Damn right I'm angry. I'm angry at what is happening to this country and especially to the young people of this country who are being sold down the river. Christmas is a disgusting display of corporatised culture and materialism and makes me even angrier. Jesus what is a multiculturalist like you doing even celebrating Christmas for anyway?

You're the one that said "this country is settling into its geography" yet you still equate Christmas dinner with turkey on a stinking hot Christmas day? Real geographic awareness.

If he was being legitimately persecuted - sure - on a TPV - and he and/or his decedents could return to Israel when it was safe for them to do so. TPV fullfilled both our legal and compassionate obligations but Labor bleeding hearts have made them forever unviable by giving TPV holders permanent residence, saying the poor darlings needed to get on with their lives. Giving refugees a good life in our country is not part of our obligation. Our obligation is to provide safe harbor until the danger passes.

Australian Property Forum is an economics and finance forum dedicated to discussion of Australian and global real estate markets and macroeconomics, including house prices, housing affordability, and the likelihood of a property crash. Is there an Australian housing bubble? Will house prices crash, boom or stagnate? Is the Australian property market a pyramid scheme or Ponzi scheme? Can house prices really rise forever? These are the questions we address on Australian Property Forum, the premier real estate site for property bears, bulls, investors, and speculators. Members may also discuss matters related to finance, modern monetary theory (MMT), debt deflation, cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin Ethereum and Ripple, property investing, landlords, tenants, debt consolidation, reverse home equity loans, the housing shortage, negative gearing, capital gains tax, land tax and macro prudential regulation.
