When power is concentrated into two parties only, it creates a system that is prone to corruption. Both major parties have ever so slight differences in ideology and I find it hilarious to watch people that are "hardline liberal" or "hardline labor". Same shit, different smell. Centre right ideology or slightly righter ideology, WHAT A CHOICE!
I mean from a Labor/Lib point of view. Me I preferred a minority party and maybe some of you wanted the Greens but who cares they'll never get in.
I've noticed he's taken on an understated and defensive way of talking. I like it.
I think one must understand neither government can do the right thing. Ie, land tax, remove NG, do all that Ken Henry type stuff. I think they both know that's the answer. They can only fiddle around the edges. The population and media is just too self entitled, ignorant and indebted.
We're only 3 months in but none the less I think he's going to knock this country for six.
We have a very good man in Mr. Abbott. The labor party got us so far into debt and employed so many dead head public servants this rich country nearly buckled. Mr. Obied did his best i know but even he could not save the labour party. So lets get behind Tony and support him, his job is going to be tough, and we have a tough man as the captain of the ship now. Not some left wing marshmallow. Support Tony and we win the game. 1. It hasn't been the Labour Party since 1912, it's the Labor Party. 2. The Labor Party brought Australia through a time that sent most western countries into a tailspin. Hence all the debt, which isn't as much debt as most other western countries. 3. The only reason they had some funds to play with is because the previous government spent the entire time selling up national assets. 4. It looks increasingly likely that the Liberal Party will do pretty much the same for the remaining assets.

I still think they could the eArs chop chop... Even Juliar 's nose could have done with some odd plastic surgery.. Many cartoons have been made about that nose... Don't think you'd wanna be famous for that in history.

Blondie's husband is 50. I don't know how she can talk about age so much.
stinkbug omosessuale Frank Castle is a liar and a criminal. He will often deliberately take people out of context and use straw man arguments. Frank finally and unintentionally gives it up and admits he got where he is, primarily via dumb luck! See here Property will be 50-70% off by 2016.

these 2 points are a load of crap. the mining sector carried us through the GFC, they were the revenue that rudd got to play with.
the asset sales you speak of went to paying off the LAST labor government debt.
I am the love child of Tony Abbott and Pauline Hanson
I am liberal supporter not a labour supporter, but am no fan of politicians, in saying that , I did love Johnny Howard, he had leadership and was a good leader, when he was in I felt that the country was being run by a more intelligent man than myself, but not anymore for the leaders that have followed him, including Abbott.I would rather have Abbott than Kevin or Julia any day of the week. I have been no fan of Abbott , and found his arrogant at times, but he has definately improved over the last year and has polished his routine.
Bring back little johhny, and thank you to all the brain dead morons out there that voted for labour and ousted johnny for than moron krudd and the redhead dope that followed, wtf were you people thinking ffs.IDIOTS
I completely agree - well said. Abbott is a total moron but not as dysfunctional as Gillard/Rudd

This was my first thought as well.
We haven't had a decent choice in this country for quite a long time.
One of the most obvious recent ones is the TPP which labour refused to talk about when they were in government and now Abbott has taken over they are demanding it be released.
It absolutely should be released for us to see but neither party was ever planning on doing so. They all make sure only to disagree on stupid crap that doesn't really matter in the long run while selling us out.

you could take it a step further and question the relevance of public speaking in the event there happens to be one party with two leaders talking a different tune. Kevin was a fan of a 'big Australia' while Gillard was the opposite. Im betting there weren't any serious measures put in place under the Gillard government other than some jawboning.
