I am looking at going to a Positive Real estate Seminar I do like the mentoring side of things . The only thing is the costs of 10,000 to join .. Is there anyone on this forum that is a member or has any information on this company . Any thing would be appreciated
Property seminars, clubs, whatever are designed to make money for those who organise them. It would be OK if they really gave you advice that could potentially save or earn you many thousands of dollars, but they don't. They get you fired up, and then you commit to buying a house or property through them. they also arrange the finance.
As an earner it will look a bit like this:-
Joining fee $10,000 Commission on sale $14,000 Commission on finance $3,000
Total Earnings per member $27,000
Not a bad days work if they sign up 25 new members at a seminar.
What you as the buyer will end up with is an overpriced property that you can't sell to get your money back. Perhaps you will be happy with that, but it's not really an investment, more of a donation.
The property industry is a quick buck maker for a lot of people. There are also some decent people who will give you OK advice especially if you back it up with your own research. Of course it's not just property, any transaction or purchase of assets such as gold and shares that is a high dollar value attracts the charlatans and the sharks, and you would be well advised to avoid them.
Don't underestimate the ability of the salesmen and saleswomen at these seminars, they are very very good at their job.
Any expressed market opinion is my own and is not to be taken as financial advice
How many are making a quick buck on property these days?
We are at the beginning of a property price surge. I wouldn't yet call it a boom.
There will be a corresponding surge in property seminars and wannabe's hoping to make a buck out of property investment, and that presents a ripe opportunity for the spruikers.

Wow this is a lot of money to earn from one person . I am really learning a lot from this forum , I shall keep researching and posting on this site to get my answers
Be careful. The Internet is a useful tool for info but it's also valuable to "see" what is going on in the city you live in. Go to auctions, go to home opens, educate yourself what property you have in mind is worth also do look at what people are doing, what $ is getting what exactly? ask yourself what potential does this suburb/property have, what infrastructure /amenities is available ? Look at zoning conditions ....
I kept a diary of what any interested properties I saw ..what price sold, how long it sold, never EVER show your emotions at home opens, emotions are not suitable in buying IPs ..use your head not your heart.
Be .."poker faced", otherwise people will take you for a ride. You need to research, unless you wish to waste your $.
Newjerk? can you try harder than dig up another person's blog. My first promo was with Billabong and my name in English is modified with a T, am Perth born but also lived in Sydney to make my $$ It's Absolutely Fabulous if it includes brilliant locations, & high calibre tenants..what more does one want? Understand the power of the two "P"" or be financially challenged Even better when there is family who are property mad and one is born in some entitlements.....Understand that beautiful women are the exhibitionists we crave attention, whilst hot blooded men are the voyeurs ... A stunning woman can command and takes pleasure in being noticed. Seems not too many understand what it means to hold and own props and get threatened by those who do. Banks are considered to be law abiding and & rather boring places yeah not true . A bank balance sheet will show capital is dwarfed by their liabilities this means when a portions of loans is falling its problems for the bank.
